Welcome To Swaneset Dear Tournament Host: Thank you for considering Swaneset Bay as a potential site for your golf event. Swaneset s two championship courses were designed by the legendary Lee Trevino and were opened in 1993. Located in the Pitt River Valley, surrounded by tranquil beauty, Swaneset Bay offers breathtaking scenery that will leave your guests feeling as if they have been on vacation for a day. Upon arrival at Swaneset, your guests will enter our Chateau-style clubhouse that has previously been awarded Best Clubhouse in British Columbia by Score Golf Magazine. With a fleet of over 150 trained team members, Swaneset Bay has partnered with corporations and associations to help execute your event to the highest level. Tournament Enhancements GOLF SHOP DISCOUNT ON MERCHANDISE Swaneset Bay Resort boasts a well stocked Golf Shop with premium golf equipment from Adidas, Titleist, Footjoy, Ashworth and more. This provides the Tournament Organizer with an opportunity to purchase prizes for your event at a discount. All events are entitled to a 10% discount on purchases less than $500.00, 15% for purchases of $500.00 to $999.99 and a 20% discount on purchases over $1000.00 (excluding golf clubs, balls and tees). PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AVAILABLE Swaneset Bay Resort has CPGA professionals available to augment your event for Beat the Pro, Use the Pro s Drive, golf clinics etc. Please contact the Tournament coordinator to discuss these or other possibilities and their cost.
Payment Policies, Terms & Conditions SHOTGUN PAYMENT POLICY $2,000 Non-refundable Deposit due immediately to confirm tournament date Confirmation of golfers and food and beverage required 7 days out, at which time final payment is due. Minimum 128 Players NON-SHOTGUN PAYMENT POLICY 28 Players or more: $1,000 Non-refundable Deposit due immediately to confirm tournament date Confirmation of golfers and food and beverage required 7 days out, at which time final payment is due. DRESS CODE (always in effect at Swaneset Bay Resort & Country Club) No denim or athletic pants/shorts at any time. Men must wear proper golf attire, such as collared or mock-neck shirts, dress pants or shorts. No logo t-shirts. Ladies must wear shirts with sleeves, or a collared sleeveless shirt, dress pants/shorts or short/capri. Swaneset Bay Resort & Country Club is a soft spike only facility. TERMS & CONDITIONS ALCOHOL All alcoholic beverages must be purchased from Swaneset Bay Resort & Country Club. No outside alcohol or storage coolers will be permitted. All bags and coolers are subject to inspection. Any alcohol not purchased from Swaneset, will be confiscated and returned to the golfer upon their departure from the premises. This will be strictly enforced. SIGNS, DISPLAYS, ETC. Swaneset Bay Resort & Country Club staff will assist in the setup of any signs or displays, etc. It is mandatory that such signs or displays be delivered the day prior to the event with written instructions for installation. It is recommended that such signs be free standing (excluding banners). The event organizer is responsible to ensure that any signs or displays, etc. are removed from Swaneset the day of the event. Swaneset is unable to provide storage or security and cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to signs or displays left on the premises. The use of nails, staples, glue or any like materials is not permitted on any walls, doors or ceilings of any function room. DAMAGES The host shall be held responsible for, and be billed the cost of, any damages to property or equipment of Swaneset Bay Resort & Country Club caused by the tournament or its guests. ADVERTISING Any advertising or promotional material for your event that includes Swaneset Bay Resort & Country Club s name or logo must be approved by the Club prior to publication. CANCELLATION POLICY A non-refundable deposit of $2,000 is required at the signing of this agreement. In the event of a cancellation, any deposits made prior to the notice of cancellation are non-refundable. Swaneset Bay is responsible for delivering the event as specified on the contract. Any additions and/or changes to the contract must be approved by the Tournament Coordinator and Tournament Organizer. Please ensure all information is correct before signing the contract.
