Good morning. Today is Monday, Sept. 25, 2018 1. The New Knoxville Varsity Boys Golf Team shot its lowest round of the season a 389 and finished 6th overall at the MAC Tournament at Arrowhead Golf Course. The Rangers finished the season 7th in the League. Minster won the League outright. Low scores for the day were Sam Anspach 86, Ray Newton 96, Trent Lehman 102, Brandon Smith 105. Sam Anspach and Ray Newton also received 2nd Team All MAC honors. The boys will play in their Sectional Tournament this Thursday at Colonial Golf Course in Lima. 2. The Ranger's cross country team ran at the Sidney Invitational on Saturday. Leading the way for the high school boys with a season PR was Jonah Resor; for the high school girls, Rebecca Leffel led the team, also with her season PR. James Albers came in first for the junior high boys' team, and Ella Resor finished 14th overall in the JH girls' race with her season-best time. Other Ranger runners who achieved season PR's were Abigail Sniegowski, Lola Thompson, Lauren Blitch, Dakota Kennedy, Meta Hoge, Jakob Rollins, Jared Osborne, Noah Katterheinrich, Parker Banner, Dylan Steinke, Andrew Leffel, Jay Waterman, and Kaj Miller. 3. Wednesday will be dress like a golfer day as our golfers prepare for the MAC tournament on Thursday. No golf clubs, please. Go Golf Team! There will be a Ranger Rally at the Cross Country meet on Thursday in New Bremen! Come out and cheer on our Ranger Runners!! 4.
