It means a great deal to the fair board, to the community and to the staff in the extension office. If you wish to volunteer to help next year. Let the fair board or us know, they always need good help. --The Extension Staff Have you sent out a Thank-you note to those people responsible for the trophy you won or the livestock buyer, the Fair Board member or any other person who might have helped you before or during the Fair? The importance of Thank-you's is vital to the support of the County Fair and 4-H Program. If you received an award, be it financial or a trophy or just some help from someone, please let them know that they are appreciated. Volunteers are just that - VOLUNTEERS and some will feel let down if not acknowledged in some way. A simple Thank-you note goes a long way to obtain support in future years.
