Minutes of the November 12, 2018 Bakersfield Car Club Council meeting Meeting was called to order by Chris Addington and Lugnut Larry Thomas at 6:29pm. Introductions: Intro of clubs in attendance. Guests: No guests were at this meeting. BCCC Checkbook Balance: Checkbook balance is $6,054.60; Savings - $53.49; PayPal - $110.00 as of 10/31/18. Accounts Payable - $25 to IRS and $82 to USPS for P. O. Box annual fee. Correspondence: None for this meeting. Upcoming Local Events: --Dec. 1: 12th annual Toy Drive, Bak. RV Resort/Crest Bar & Grill, 8am-3pm, entry is an unwrapped toy, hosted by Outlawz & GEM car clubs. Making up custom-made trophies this year. Registration & toy drop off next to each other this year. Raffle in another area separate. Everyone that eats at the Crest, a percentage of food goes to their cause. Corn Hole (teams of 2) contest this year. Rain or shine. Lot of BCCC clubs participated (about 30). Largest Veteran s Day Parade in the state! New Business: --Super Cruise 23 car club registration suggestion made by Randy Raines/Loco Banditos that if car clubs enter as a group and for every five (5) paid entries they get, then they get one (1) FREE entry into the 2019 Super Cruise event but clubs must bring these entries in as a group. Car Clubs have from now until Feb. BCCC meeting (Mon., Feb. 11) for this special. Hoot Gibson/OFCC made motion to accept this pre-registration deal for car clubs; Joker/Jeff Hill/Outlawz seconded.
