VARSITY VOLLLEYBALL DEFEATS ODYSSEY 3-0 It was an exci,ng home opener for the Lady Knights as they fought hard against Odyssey with an amazing Trivium crowd cheering them to victory. Maddy Schleiffer s serves were cri,cal as she pounded 12 over the net, 4 of which were aces. Anna tallied an impressive 14 kills and Paula had 32 assists for the night. Cassidy s incredibly solid serve receive percentage, Mercedes team high 15 digs, and Maddy s momentum shining blocks made scoring difficult for our opponent. They had a comeback in game 3 that showed that this team never gives up. Congratula,ons, Lady Knights! Join us Monday and Tuesday at 6:00pm for home games vs. Antelope Union and Paradise Honors. VARSITY FOOTBALL FALLS TO MOGOLLON 36-16 The Knights faced a tough foe in number 4 ranked Mogollon and held their ground. Unfortunately it didn t turn out to be a victory on the scoreboard but the players con,nue to improve and show determina,on and a strong will to compete. Varsity XC Fountain Hills Invite Our boys and girls cross country team ran in the Fountain Hills invita,onal over the weekend and had tremendous success. The team con,nues to show progress and improvement with many PR s. We can t wait to see these teams develop further this season. JV VOLLEYBALL DEFEATS ODYSSEY PREP 2-0 The JV Lady Knights pulled off an impressive win against Odyssey in their third match of the season. The JV team is looking great, stretching their winning streak to 3 and remaining undefeated. MIDDLE SCHOOL FOOTBAL DEFEATS CHANDLER PREP 46-6 Trivium Prep Middle School football played an almost perfect football game on Saturday, September 10th, bea,ng Chandler Prep 46-6. It was a great start to the middle school season. The Knights will need to con,nue to focus on execu,on without becoming over confident as it is just one game in a long season. Join us for the first home game of the year Saturday at 8:00am. MIDDLE SCHOOL XC GLENDALE INVITATIONAL The boys and girls cross country teams con,nued to improve as individuals and a team over the weekend at the middle school xc meet. The boys finished 6 th with a team score of 158. The girls finished 3 rd with a team score of 99. Next up our middle school XC teams will head to Kiwanis park this Saturday September 17 th. MIDDLE SCHOOL A VOLLEYBALL DEFEATS ARETE PREP IN TWO MATCHES 2-0 AND 2-0 The Lady Knights faced Arete at home and won the first match. The Knights came out ready to compete and won the first set 25-11 and the following set 25-8. Serve receive was spot on and the girls hit the ball hard, giving Arete a run for their money! The second match the Lady Knights were more ready than ever. Bella Flickinger went on a serving role and served 15 straight points in the first set. The Knights sefled in to their offense and was receiving the ball with spot on passing. The girls finished the second game only allowing Arete 10 points. Great job Lady Knights! MIDDLE SCHOOL B VOLLEYBALL DEFEATS ARETE PREP IN TWO MATCHES 2-0 AND 2-0 The B-Team opened the season today with a win over Arete Prep. We had outstanding serving today with Jayne Johnson, Izzy Price, Ella Rusick, and Kiah Burt all serving 4 or more consecu,vely. Annika Capulla and Ella Rusick did an excellent job of seing and Kensey Lang did a great job at the net. I am very proud of how the girls played today as a team. They show amazing promise for the future of Trivium volleyball. The girls had an excellent second match bea,ng Arete Prep in 2. Next up the Lady Knights will host North Phoenix on Saturday beginning at 9:00am. MIDDLE SCHOOL GOLF FALLS TO GLENDALE PREP Trivium Prep Middle School Golf had their first tournament of the year against Glendale Prep and Lincoln Prep. This year's team is a combina,on of kids new to compe,,ve golf and some with just 1 year of experience. Glendale Prep won the event with a strong team of avid golfers and Lincoln placed second.
