JUNE CAMPS: Summer Camps Space is limited, and a minimum number of students are required for all programs Vocal Camp: Limited to 15 students. One week of Disney Music for grades K-4! This camp, open to all levels of singers, focuses on breathing techniques, style, enunciation, pitch, dynamics, performance skills and stage presence in solo and small group numbers culminating in a showcase on the last day of camp. Each day of camp students will get a 1:1 voice lesson as well as work on musical numbers in a group. It is a GREAT way to sing your way through the heat, tighten your musical abilities and get your feet wet in the performing arts. Join Miss Katie and Miss Esther for this magical camp! Space is limited, so sign up soon! Grades Dates Time Cost Tickets Show Date Show Times K-4 June 5-June 9 10am-1pm $5 each Friday, June 9 Noon on June 9 Flat Stanley: Limited to 30 cast members. For Grades K-5. Stanley Lambchop is your ordinary, everyday ten-year-old until the bulletin board on the wall above his bed comes loose and falls right on top of him. The next morning, Stanley wakes up flat. In a whirlwind musical travelogue, Stanley the ultimate exchange student scours the globe for a solution to his unusual problem. He's stamped, posted and cancelled from Hollywood and France to Honolulu and beyond, all in an effort to become a three-dimensional boy once more. Stanley s journey takes him all across the globe, to many interesting locales, filled with lots of colorful characters, which makes for great casting opportunities. Bye, Bye Birdie: Limited to 30 cast members. For Grades 4-10. The year is 1958 Agent and songwriter Albert Peterson finds himself in trouble when hip-thrusting rock and roll superstar Conrad Birdie is drafted into the Army. Albert's secretary and sweetheart, Rose "Rosie" Alvarez, comes up with a last-ditch publicity stunt to have Conrad Birdie record and perform a song before he is sent overseas and hold a contest to kiss one lucky lady before he leaves the public eye. The lucky girl chosen randomly from Conrad's fan club is fifteen-year-old Kim MacAfee from Sweet Apple, Ohio. All the teenagers in Sweet Apple are catching up on the latest gossip about Kim MacAfee and Hugo Peabody going steady. Between Kim's boyfriend, Rosie's desire to be married, Kim's old fashion dad, Mama's boy Albert, the cast turns Sweet Apple into one hysterical and musical place! This show had great songs like "Bye Bye Birdie", "Put on a Happy Face" and "Telephone Hour". It is funny and family-friendly. Auditions will be held May 26th & 27th so everyone must be registered before that to be eligible for a large role. After that, you will be assigned to ensemble. Legally Blonde: Limited to 30 cast members. For Grades 11-Alumni. OMG YOU GUYS!!! A fabulously fun international award-winning musical based on the adored movie, Legally Blonde the Musical, follows the transformation of Elle Woods as she tackles stereotypes, snobbery and scandal in pursuit of her dreams. This actionpacked musical explodes on the stage with memorable songs and dynamic dances. Equal parts hilarious and heartwarming, this musical is so much fun, it should be illegal! Roles will be cast in either by an in person audition or via video submission the week of June 26th, so everyone needs to be registered by then to make sure we have enough interest.
