Sand Ring Dimensions: 350' x 200 Schooling Area 133 x 240 MEMBERSHIP STATEMENT Life, senior active and junior active members shall be eligible to participate in all classes at Regular Competitions, Eventing Competitions at the Preliminary Level or above and Combined Driving Competitions at the Advanced Level, Dressage, Reining and Vaulting Competitions and Endurance Rides. A non-member may participate as a handler, rider, driver, owner, lessee, agent, coach or trainer at Regular Competitions, Eventing Competitions, Dressage Competitions, Reining Competitions and Combined Driving Competitions upon payment of a $45 Show Pass fee. Participants in the following classes are exempted from the Requirements of this rule: 1) leadline; 2) exhibitions; 3) games and races; 4) classes for 4-H members; 5) walk trot (exception: Friesian performance FR218) and academy classes (academy classes are classes limited to horses used regularly in a lesson program); 6) USDF introductory level tests, pas de deux and quadrille classes; 7) NRHA Endorsed Reining Competitions. 8) Opportunity classes, 9) citizens of other nations who have proof, in English, of current membership in good standing of their own National Federation, 10) USEA beginner novice division; and 11) assistant handlers in Dressage Sport Horse Breeding classes MOTOR VEHICLE STATEMENT Minors who do not have a valid driver s license which allow them to operate a motorized vehicle in the state in which they reside will not be permitted to operate a motorized vehicle of any kind, including, but not limited to, golf carts, motorcycles, scooters, or farm utility vehicles, on the competition grounds of licensed competitions. Minors who have a valid temporary license may operate the above described motorized vehicle as long as they are accompanied by an adult with a valid driver s license. The parent(s), legal guardian(s), or individual who signs the entry blank as a parent or guardian of a minor operating a motorized vehicle in violation of this rule are solely responsible for any damages, claims, losses or actions resulting from that operation. Violations of this rule will be cause for sanctions against the parent(s), an/or trainer(s) who are responsible for the child committing the offense. Penalties may include exclusion of the child, parent(s), guardian(s), and/or trainer(s) from the competition grounds for the remainder of the competition and charges being filed against any of the above individuals in the accordance with Chapter 6. Wheelchairs and other mobility assistance devices for individuals with disabilities are exempt from the rule.
RULES AND REGULATIONS: 1. Pre-entries will be accepted until 12 noon on January 6th, January 20th and March 3rd respectively. 2. Entries received after the entry deadline will be charged a $50 post entry fee. $75 scratch fee. 3. In order for Prize Money to be awarded, Prize Money Payee information MUST be provided including name, address and social security number. It is the sole responsibility of the exhibitor to provide this information on the entry blank. 4. Prize Money will be applied to show accounts. If additional Prize Money needs to be issued, it will be mailed within 30 days using the information provided on the entry blank. A completed W-9 needs to be on file with show management. 5. Any Prize Money check not negotiated after 60 days will be considered null and void. 6. Only checks drawn on U.S. Bank funds will be accepted. 7. All riders must wear proper attire and protective head gear at all times while mounted. 8. The Ridge Farm LLC, The Ridge South LLC, The Ridge Grand Prix Tour Group LLC and the Jim Brandon Equestrian Center, its employees or owners, Nona Garson, George D Ambrosio, or any member of the show committee will not be held responsible for any accident, loss, theft or damage at the show. It shall be the condition of every exhibitor to hold the same blameless or harmless for any accident or loss. 9. The committee reserves the right to cancel, combine, or substitute classes at their discretion. 10. Schooling will be permitted only in areas provided by the committee and back numbers must be issued and worn. 11. A jump order will be established and posted along with course diagrams in accordance with USHJA rules for the classes offered. 12. Ticketed Warmups as time allows $50. 13. All pets must be kept on a leash at all times. 14. Sharps containers will be located in the secretary stand. 15. A $35 EMT fee will be charged to all entries as well as a $55 office fee. Standard USEF/USHJA fees will apply. 16. The Class Fee will be as indicated with the class descriptions. 17. All entries not paid at the horse show will incur a $100.00 late payment fee. 18. Credit cards may be used for payment of entries. A 4% processing fee will be added to the entry total if this option is exercised. 19. Every class offered herein which is covered by the rules and specifications of the current USEF Rulebook will be conducted and judged in accordance therewith. 20. Stalls, as available, will be 10 by 10 stalls with doors for a fee of $275/week, if secured by closing date of entries. Late stalls, if available, may be obtained for an additional fee. 21. Every effort has been made to avoid errors in this publication. The Ridge assumes no liability for errors. Any changes will be disclosed to competitors upon receipt of entries per USEF rules. Any disputes not covered in the rules will be referred to show management whose decision shall be final.

Class 1001 $15,000 USHJA International Hunter Derby 2:30pm Start Entry Fee: $695 (includes $50 USHJA Fee) $4500, $3300, $1950, $1200, $900, $750, $600, $450, $450, $300, $300, $300 Class will be run in accordance with USEF and USHJA specifications. Fence heights will range from 3 6 to 4 3 as such with the first round being a Classic Style Hunter Round and the second round being a Handy Hunter Round. Stabling/Schooling All horses competing in the Derby class must be on the competition grounds 24 hours prior to the start of the first round of the class. A horse must be officially entered in the class before it will be allowed to check-in. All horses will be monitored and must remain on the competition grounds until the horse is finished competing in the Derby class. Any horse that leaves the premises prior to completing it s participation in the Derby class is disqualified. All horses must be ridden in official horse show schooling areas unless competition management designates a specific schooling area for derby horses. Riders must wear the horses competition number while mounted. Jog Format All horses entered in the International Hunter Derby class must jog for soundness during the Official Jog prior to the start of the first round in order to compete. The Official Jog must be held within 12 hours of the start of the first round. This jog will be run in a manner similar to an FEI jog. Proper attire is required (i.e., riding clothes or proper attire which an exhibitor would wear to compete in a model class). If a horse does not pass the jog; the exhibitor may request to re-present the horse to the judge(s). The judge(s) may decide to allow the horse to re-present at any time up to one hour prior to the start of the class. The vet and one of the judges from the original panel must be present.
