First published in 2007, the Diving Almanac & Book of Records is the only compilation of such diverse and far-ranging information on the world diving community. It is meant to showcase the accomplishments of underwater explorers, scientists, engineers, freedivers and adventurers since Man first plunged into the sea more than six millennia ago. The Diving Almanac & Book of Records is a 100% FREE web publication fully compatible with all computers, tablets and mobile devices. There are no hidden fees and there is no need to register. ONE-OF-A-KIND reference As a free publication and the only central body of information on diving records, diving history, and diver biographies ever assembled, the Diving Almanac is a unique reference for every diver and instructor in the world. If you are a manufacturer, resort, liveaboard, travel agency, school, or an online business looking for a worldwide audience seeking knowledge not available anywhere else, the Diving Almanac is a strategic and effective location to advertise your product. Guaranteed exposure! Because our main advertising banner is always visible, and because it rotates every 5 seconds, your product gets as much exposure on a weekly basis as you would get from a booth at a trade show, i.e. during an average 4-minute visit, your ad is seen at least four times by all of our readers, but for only a fraction of the cost of tending a booth at a convention centre. Exposure is the key to generating sales, and effective and repeated visibility for your product is what you get when you advertise in the Diving Almanac. he definitive reference for all divers - DeeperBlue.com
