ASSEMBLY All shap edges have been caefully emoved duing manufactuing pocess, but please be caeful when handling all components to avoid accident to happen. WARNING HANDY HINTS Tools equied: Eithe a Philips cosshead o flat bladed scewdive and eithe an adjustable spanne o a pai of plies. STEP 1 - LID ASSEMBLY & HANGING HOOK Place ound bakelite handle (A) with bolt (P) on lid (E) and align ound bakelite handle with hanging hook (C) which you place inside of the lid. Then secue with washe (V) and nut (X). (E) (P) (A) (C) (V) (X) STEP 2 - ATTACHING HANDLES Take one of the squae handles (B) and emove the two bolts (Y) and washes (W) that ae attached to it. Fix the handle to the outside of the fie bowl (D), using two of the holes nea the im. Then fix the second squae handle to the opposite side of the fie bowl. (W) (W) (Y) (D) (B) STEP 3 - FITTING LEGS Next, take one of the shot legs (H) and emove the bolt (Q) and washe (W) fom its top. Place a leg cup (J) ove the top of the leg. Note, that the hole in the cup must go onto the leg fist, so the cup points upwads. Push the bolt and washe though any one of the fou holes in the bottom of the fie bowl. Next, scew into the top of the leg, making sue the leg cup sits squaely against the bottom of the fie bowl. At this point, do not fully tighten the bolt, but leave some movement in the leg. Now, attach the othe thee legs in the same way. (J) (W) (Q) (H) Note: The second shot leg must sit next to the fist shot leg. This means one of the handles you fixed to the bowl will be between the two shot legs. This also applies to the long legs. 5
STEP 4 - ATTACHING WIRE SHELF Place the fie bowl upside down on the floo so that the fou legs point upwads and make sue that the shot legs ae closest to you.take the wie shelf (M) and position it so the theaded ba is closest to you body and the two kinks at the othe end of the shelf point upwads. Inset the kinked ends of the shelf into the holes neaest the end of the long legs. You may need to tilt the shelf upwads slightly to fit them in. It may be necessay to tun the legs ound to line the holes up. Once you have done this,inset the theaded ends of the shelf into thei coesponding holes in the shot legs (closest to you). You will have to push the legs outwad slightly to do this. (M) STEP 5 - WHEEL ASSEMBLY Place the wheels (L) on the theaded ends of the wie shelf (M) and fix with wheel nuts (T) and washe (S) tighten wheel assembly. Note: you may have to squeeze the legs inwads to fit the nuts on the theaded ends (L) Impotant: Now stand the on its legs and fully tighten the fou scews holding the legs. (T) (S) (M) STEP 6 - ASSEMBLY AIR VENT Using bolt (R) and wing nut (U) to fit ai vent (N) to the outside of the lid. (R) (N) (U) 6
STEP 7 - ASSEMBLY OF AIR VENT The ai vent with handle (O) should be attached to the undeside of the fie bowl.use bolt (R) and wing nut (U) to secue in place. (U) (O) (R) STEP 8 - PLACING OF CHARCOAL GRILL, COOKING GRILL & ASH TRAY Place the chacoal gill (G) inside the fie bowl, seating it on the ledge that uns ound the fie bowl, paty away down. Place the cooking gill (F) inside the fie bowl also, ensuing its two handles ae facing upwads. Finally, fix the ash tay (K) to the fou legs. Place the ash tay on the wie shelf between the fou legs and lift towads the fie bowl, making sue the legs line up with the fou gaps aound the ash tay. Slide the ash tay up as fa as it will go and then tun it slightly clockwise. Now push the ash tay back down the leg a little and it will be fimly locked against the legs The gill is now fully assembled and you ae eady to enjoy you fist. (F) (G) (K) 7
