GENERAL INFORMATION ENTRIES CLOSE: MARCH 11 TH, 2019. All entries must be made on the official entry blank for this show and filled out entirely. A horse must be entered in the name of his registered owner(s) only and must be entered under its full registered name. A photocopy of all AHA membership cards, USEF membership cards, and registration papers must accompany your entry form. All entries must be accompanied by a valid check or money order for the full amount of all fees made out to GCAHA or pay with the credit card option. A signature by the parent is required if a minor is showing. No entries will be accepted with open checks. All entries must be paid in full. Checks will be deposited upon receipt. Open checks will only be accepted for post entries. ALL OF THE FOLLOWING MUST BE MAILED TO THE SHOW SECRETARY OR A $25 INCOMPLETE ENTRY FEE WILL BE ACCESSED (NO EMAIL ENTRIES): 1. The complete, signed entry form. 2. Fees Payable to GCAHA. 3. Photocopies required to be sent with entries: Horse s Registration Certification: both sides. Proof of Ownership (if applicable): In the case of a sale or lease, it is required that a copy of the sale contract or lease, or statement from the owner be submitted with the copy of the current registration certificate. AHA Membership cards (owner, trainer, rider, driver, & handler). USEF Membership cards (owner, trainer, rider, driver & handler). USEF Amateur Certification (if applicable). *Copies of your actual current AHA/USEF membership cards are required or single event fees will be charged. AHA affidavits are no longer available. If you do not have proof of current AHA membership you must pay the AHA single event member fee. USEF affidavits are no longer available. If you do not have proof of current USEF membership you must pay the USEF Show Pass fee. Exhibitors showing in Amateur Owner classes must be listed as an owner of the horse on the registration papers of the horse they are exhibiting. **All entries must be made in writing on an official entry form for this show or photocopies of the same. Please use a ballpoint pen or typewriter to complete entry form. Every owner, trainer, rider, driver, handler and parent or guardian of a junior exhibitor must sign the entry form and must be a member of USEF and AHA Competition Member or pay the nonmember/single event fees. A horse may be entered in the name of his recorded owner or lessee only. The complete address and phone number of the recorded owner or lessee must be given, even if an agent enters the horse. All horses belonging to one owner must be entered on one entry form. No horses may be entered on more than one form. Mail entries to: Ringside Productions P.O. A one-time $30.00 per horse post entry fee will be charged. Horses entered by March 11 th, 2019 may enter additional classes at the show and not be subject to the post entry fee. Working cow post entries: No post entries will be allowed for Working Cow after March 28 th. Post entries after March 11 th and before March 28 th will have a one-time working cow post entry fee of $65.00. WITHDRAWING ENTRIES: Entries may be scratched from the show PRIOR TO March 11th, 2019 with a refund of all fees EXCEPT the office fee. After that date, withdrawals accompanied by a veterinarian s certificate of inability to show will receive refunds of class entry fees only. REGRISTRATION REQUIREMENTS: Horses shown in the Arabian Division must have been issued a certificate of registration from the Arabian Horse Association and must be entered under their full registered name. Horses shown in the Half-Arabian/Anglo-Arabian Division must have been issued a certificate of registration from the Arabian Horse Association in the Half-Arabian or Anglo-Arabian Registry and entered under their registered name. 4

GENERAL RULES This horse show is conducted in accordance with the Rules of the United States Equestrian Federation, Arabian Horse Division. The official Rule Book of USEF will prevail for this show. This premium list is based on the rules of the current Rule Book. Any changes or corrections of rules will automatically become a part of this premium list. Each participant in the show is responsible for knowledge of and is subject to the USEF Rules. The Show Committee shall decide questions not covered by USEF rules and its decisions will be final. USEF REQUIREMENTS: A) A non-member of USEF who wishes to participate as a rider, driver, handler, owner, lessee, agent, coach or trainer at this show must purchase a Show Pass for $45. B) Amateurs: All adult riders/drivers/handlers in Amateur classes (including futurity classes) must have in their possession an Amateur Certification Membership card issued by USEF or make application for such card with the Show Secretary. If you are not a member of USEF and do not have an Amateur Certification card you can become a USEF Senior member at the show. Senior membership is $80, which includes Amateur Certification. C) USEF Membership affidavits are no longer available. If you do not have your USEF card you must pay the non-member fee. D) There is a mandatory fee of $23.00 per horse ($15 drugs and med and $8 USEF). E) A photocopy of your USEF membership card must accompany your entry. F) Walk-Trot and Leadline riders are exempt from USEF non-member fees. USEF MEMBERSHIP STATEMENT: Life, senior active and junior active members shall be eligible to participate in all classes at Regular Competitions, Eventing Competitions at the Preliminary Level or above and Combined Driving Competitions at the Advanced Level, Dressage, Reining and Vaulting Competitions and Endurance Rides. A nonmember may participate as a handler, rider, driver, owner, lessee, agent, coach or trainer at Regular Competitions, Eventing Competitions, Dressage Competitions, Reining Competitions and Combined Driving Competitions upon payment of a $30 nonmember registration fee. Participants in the following classes are exempted from the Requirements of this rule: 1) Leadline; 2) exhibitions; 3) games and races; 4) classes for 4-H members; 5) walk trot and academy classes (academy classes are classes limited to horses used regularly in a lesson program); 6) USDF introductory level tests, pas de deux and quadrille classes; 7) NRHA Endorsed Reining Competitions. 8) Opportunity classes, 9) citizens of other nations who have proof, in English, of current membership in good standing of their own National Federation, 10) USEA beginner novice division; and 11) assistant handlers in Dressage Sport Horse Breeding classes. USEF RULEBOOK AR101 ELIGIBILITY TO COMPETE: Purebred: Horses shown in this division must have been issued a certificate of registration from the Arabian Horse Registry of America, Inc., or the Arabian Horse Association as a Purebred Arabian and/or the Canadian Arabian Horse Registry (or in the case of a foreign entry, which has not been issued said certificate of registration, have been issued a Competition Visa by the Arabian Horse Association), or, if under one year of age, be eligible for registry, and registration applied for (Exception: AR249.1) and must be entered under their full registered name. (Only weanlings that have had registration applied for may show without registration papers). A copy of the registration papers showing the owner of record with the Arabian Horse Association must be submitted with entry form at the time of making entry; competition management is responsible for notifying exhibitors of this requirement. A copy of the registration papers will be returned when exhibitors pick up their numbers. In the case of a sale or lease, it is required that a contract of the sale or lease, or statement from owner be submitted with the copy of the registration papers. (Exception: Horses under one year of age. Half-Arabians and Anglo-Arabians: Horses shown in this section must have been issued a certificate of registration from the International Arabian Horse Association or the Arabian Horse Association or the Canadian Partbred Arabian Register as a Half-Arabian or Anglo- Arabian, or if under one year of age, be eligible for registry and registration applied for and must be entered under their full registered name. AHA REQUIREMENTS: A) All exhibitors entered in this event must be a current AHA member with a competition card, join AHA at the show, or pay a Single Event Membership fee of $35.00 per person. This includes any owner, trainer, driver, rider, or halter handler who exhibits horses in the show ring or signs the entry form as the responsible person for any individual s horse. A photocopy of your AHA membership card must accompany your entry. B) AHA Membership affidavits are no longer available. If you do not have your AHA card you must pay the single event Member fee. C) There is an AHA mandatory fee of $17.00 per horse. ($7 AHA judges commission and education/evaluation, Resolution 9-90 and $10 AHA per horse fee). D) Walk-trot and Leadline riders are exempt from AHA non-member fees. ACCIDENT PREPAREDNESS PLAN: The show complies with Article GR1213 of the USEF Rules. An EMT is on the show grounds during each session of the show. In addition, a Tulsa ambulance, if needed, will be summoned by a call to 911. Should the EMT or ambulance be needed, contact the Show Office or the show arena Paddock Manager. The EMT or the ambulance will be contacted. The Show Veterinarian can be contacted by the show office. ARENAS: Ford Arena is 135 x 240 and is sandy loam and clay. Mustang Arena is 135 x 240 and is sandy loam and clay. Warm-up arenas are sandy loam and clay. BAD CHECKS: There will be a $25.00 handling fee charged for any returned checks. Action in accordance with USEF rules will be taken against any owner, exhibitor or trainer who does not make a returned check good and will be reported. BARN OFFICE HOURS, ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURES: Barn manager is Tony Reid 314-719-6447. Contact Tony for arrival and departure if earlier than Wednesday, March 27 th or later than midnight March 31 st. Early arrival or late departure is $100 per day per stall used. This is what the facility is charging for early arrival or late departure. TULSA FAIRGROUNDS AND/OR GCAHA IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ITEMS LEFT UNATTENDED. CALL FOR CLASSES: The two minute gate will be enforced. The gate will close two minutes after the first horse enters the ring or in cases with large classes taking more than two minutes, after the entry of the final horse in a continuous string of horses. If tack changes are necessary, it is the exhibitor s responsibility to notify the gate person and request a three-minute gate hold. Note: Due to unforeseeable problems with the mechanical devices, the paddock and barn calls over the PA system must be considered a COURTESY. It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to be sure that his/her horse is at the gate at the prescribed time. CANCELLATION OF CLASSES DUE TO EMERGENCIES: In the event that a class, or a series of classes, or all or part of the competition is cancelled due to an accident, storm, or other emergency after the start of the show (defined as initial Move-In Day), no refund of entry fees will be made. CONCESSIONS: are available on the grounds. DOGS: Dogs will be permitted on the show grounds, but MUST be on leashes at all times. No dogs will be allowed in the show arena. This is a USEF Yellow Warning card offense (GR1037 & GR1301.6). ENTRIES: All entries must be made on the official entry blank for this show and filled out entirely. A horse must be entered in the name of his registered owner(s) only and must be entered under its full registered name. A photocopy of all AHA membership cards, USEF membership cards, and registration papers must accompany your entry form. All entries must be accompanied by a valid check or money order for the full amount of all fees made out to GCAHA. A signature is required by the parent if a minor is showing. No entries will be accepted with open checks. All entries must be paid in full. Checks will be deposited upon receipt. Open checks will only be accepted for post entries. FARRIER: A Farrier will be available on show grounds beginning March 29 th or on call with number posted at office. An official Show Farrier will be available on the grounds. No other Farrier will be permitted to work on the grounds without registering with the show committee. Exhibitors wishing to use their private Farrier must have the Farrier apply at the Show Office and pay a registration fee of $100 before they can work on the show grounds. HEALTH REGULATIONS: All horses must have a negative Coggins Test dated within twelve (12) months (must be original not photocopy). All out of state horses must also be accompanied by an Official Health Certificate issued within 30 days of arrival that identifies the animals listed, including all vaccinations, and date and results of required test. THE ABOVE ITEMS SHOULD BE CARRIED WITH YOU DO NOT FORWARD WITH YOUR ENTRY. Any animals brought into Oklahoma must observe all regulations of the State of Oklahoma, Animal Health Division. Any horse that develops a communicable disease must be removed from the show grounds. USEF GR845 Equine Vaccination Rule 1. At Federation licensed competitions, horses entering the grounds must be accompanied by documentation of Equine Influenza Virus and Equine Herpes Virus (Rhinopneumonitis) vaccinations within six months prior to entering the stables. Horses not in compliance with this rule may be required to leave the competition grounds upon request by Competition Management. Documentation should consist of one of the following methods mentioned below. The frequency of vaccine administration should be per the vaccine manufacturers or veterinarian s recommendations. It is recommended that vaccines are administered by or under the direction of a veterinarian. 2. In the case of vaccines administered by a veterinarian, the exhibitor, upon request by Competition Management, must provide documentation from the veterinarian on documenting that the horse in question received the vaccinations; name of the vaccines and date of vaccine administration. 3. In the case of vaccines administered by a person other than a veterinarian, the exhibitor, upon request by Competition Management, must provide a receipt of the vaccine purchase which is signed by the owner, or agent with care, custody, and control of the horse; name, serial number and expiration date of the vaccine; and date of vaccine administration. 4. In the case of a horse that is unable to receive either of the vaccinations due to a history of adverse reactions, the exhibitor, upon request by Competition Management, must provide a letter from the veterinarian on official letterhead stating that the horse in question cannot be vaccinated due to medical concerns and a log of temperatures taken twice daily for the seven days prior to entering the competition grounds. These horses must also have their temperature taken and logged twice daily while on the competition grounds. The log of temperatures should be provided to the Competition Management, steward, or technical delegate when requested. 5. Competition Management may not amend or enhance vaccination requirements without prior approval of the Veterinary Committee. BOD 1/17/15 Effective 12/1/15. INDEBTEDNESS TO SHOW: Any exhibitor who fails to settle his indebtedness to this show will automatically be reported to AHA and USEF. Any exhibitor who fails to settle his indebtedness in full to a FARRIER or VETERINARIAN for his/her services during the show BEFORE LEAVING THE GROUNDS will be barred from taking part in future shows. JUDGES: This show will be judged according to the single judge systems. In the event that an official is unable to perform his duties, the Show Committee reserves the right to substitute an official according to USEF rules. It is a violation of USEF Rules to commit any act or make remarks during the show that are considered offensive or made with intent to influence or cast aspersions on the judging and any exhibitor may be barred from the show for this offense by the Show Committee. No contact shall be made with the Judges during the period of the show unless accompanied by a member of the Show Committee designated by the committee for such purpose. Further, no exhibitor shall approach a Judge regarding a decision unless he first obtains permissions from the Steward, who shall arrange an appointment with the Judge at a proper time and place. MEDICAL WASTES: Sharps containers are available at least one per fifty occupied stalls for the disposal of needles and other sharp medical waste. MOTORIZED VEHICLE STATEMENT In accordance with GR1301.7: Minors who do not have a valid driver s license which allows them to operate a motorized vehicle in the state in which they reside will not be permitted to operate a motorized vehicle of any kind, including, but not limited to, golf carts, motorcycles, scooters, or farm utility vehicles, on the competition grounds of licensed competitions. Minors who have a valid temporary license may operate the above described motorized vehicles as long as they are accompanied by an adult with a valid driver s license. The parent(s), legal guardian(s), or individual who signs the entry blank as a parent or guardian of a minor operating a motorized vehicle in violation of this rule are solely responsible for any damages, claims, losses or actions resulting from that operation. Violations of this rule will be cause for sanctions against the parent(s), guardian(s) and/or trainer(s) who are responsible for the child committing the offense. Penalties may include exclusion of the child, parent(s), guardian(s), and/or trainer(s) from the competition grounds for the remainder of the competition and charges being filed against any of the above individuals in accordance with Chapter 6. Wheelchairs and other mobility assistance devices for individuals with disabilities are exempt from this rule. 16

PRIZE LIST CHANGES AND/OR CORRECTIONS: Changes and/or corrections to the Premium, if any, will be posted on the Club s website, www.gcaha.com. PROTECTIVE HEADGEAR: Riders in all classes where jumping is required and when jumping anywhere on the competition grounds must wear protective headgear which passes or surpasses ASTM/SEI standards for equestrian use and carries the SEI tag. Juniors riding in Hunter, Jumper and Hunter Seat Equitation sections, while riding anywhere on the competition grounds, must wear properly fitting protective headgear which passes or surpasses ASTM/SEI standards for equestrian use and carries the SEI tag. PROTESTS: A protest must be filed as set forth in USEF Equestrian rules and/or AHA Code of Ethics rules. REFUSAL OF ENTRIES: The show Management will be governed by USEF rules with respect to refusal of entries. RESPONSIBILITY: All entries are accepted with the understanding that neither Green Country Arabian Horse Association nor the Tulsa Fairgrounds will be responsible for any loss, personal injury, or damage to any horse exhibited or for any article of any kind or nature that may be lost or destroyed or in any way damaged. All horses shall be under the control and direction of the Show Committee but solely at the risk of the exhibitor who will be responsible for any loss, damage, or injury of any person, animal or property occasioned by him or his agents or employees, or by any animal owned or exhibited by him, and shall indemnify the Green Country Arabian Horse Association and the Tulsa Fairgrounds against any and all legal costs, including attorney fees which may be the result thereof. The submitting of any entry form to the Show Secretary shall constitute an acceptance of the provisions herein set forth. RV PARKING: RV hook ups with electricity, water and sewer are available. SALE/LEASE: In the event of a lessee, pending transfer, contract of sale, or cash sale, proof of lease or ownership must be submitted. These documents must contain the correct registered name and number of the horse, date, and the signature of the seller or lessee and must be attached to the copy of the registration certificate. SCRATCHING CLASSES: No refund of entry fee when scratching classes. SHOW ACCOUNTS: Any exhibitor wishing to start a tab at the Show Office will be required to leave a signed check. SHOW OFFICE HOURS: Show office will open Thursday, March 28 th at 9 AM. Show office will open each show day at 7 am. The show office will remain open throughout the show and will close 30 minutes after the end of the show each day. STALLIONS are not allowed in showmanship or walk-trot classes. STALLS: Stalls are 10 X 10 and are on asphalt floors with a door. Stalls and alleyways must be kept clean. Horse tie out is available with a ground tie fee of $10 per day per horse, no overnight. Stalls can be reserved by sending in the appropriate stall fees, but no stalls will be held without payment. VETERINARIAN: A veterinarian will be on call. Information will be posted at Show Office. POSTING FLYERS Please, no posting of flyers on any painted surface. The fairgrounds will charge us $10 for every flyer that is on a painted surface. ATTENTION SPORT HORSE EXHIBITORS: The DW Raven++++// Memorial Trophy is a perpetual award that has been established to honor DW Raven++++//, who passed away on March 9, 2008. He was an 11 year old Anglo Arabian gelding who excelled in the Sport Horse division. He competed in Sport Horse In Hand, Sport Horse Under Saddle, Working Hunter, Hunter Hack, and Dressage. In 2006, he earned the Arabian Horse Association Legion of Excellence Award and the Legion of Masters Award in 2007, after only three years of competition. DW Raven++++// was a two-time unanimous National Champion in Hunter Hack AAOTR and ATR, and won a total of 7 Top Tens at two Sport Horse National Championships. In addition, he garnered 13 Regional Champions, 6 Reserve Championship, and 5 Top Five Awards. With this High Point Sport Horse Award, our desire is to honor DW Raven++++// and his accomplishments and to continue the memory of this wonderful horse for years to come. The DW Raven++++// Memorial Trophy will be awarded to the High Point Purebred or Half-Arabian/Anglo-Arabian Sport Horse and Reserve High Point Purebred or Half-Arabian/Anglo-Arabian award Points will be awarded in Sport Horse In Hand Open and ATH, Sport Horse Under Saddle Open and ATR, Sport Horse Under Saddle Open Championship, and Sport Horse Show Hack Open and ATR. Horses are not to have been professionally trained and/or shown by a professional for a period of one year immediately prior to the competition (riding and driving instruction for the owner to be excluded). In addition, horses are not to be exhibited, prepared, groomed or schooled with the aid of or by a professional while on or off the competition grounds immediately before or during the competition. Horses may be stabled with a professional during the competition, and hauled by a professional. Professional help for situations relevant to safety is permitted. Owner must sign as owner, trainer, and rider/driver/handler on the USEF/AHA entry blank. LEVELING PROGRAM: Verify exact rules and criteria with AHA and USEF as this is a new program and it may change. Select Riders does not have one of the following as of 12/31/2018: (a) More than 75 AHA Achievement Points (100 AHA Achievement points for JTR), or (b) leveled out of the National Select Level. Primetime Riders: AHA member, USEF Amateur 60 Years of age or older. Limit Horse A limit horse class is open to horses that have not won six (6) first place ribbons at Regular Member Shows of USEF or the Canadian Equestrian Federation in the particular performance division in which they are shown. CLASS SPECIFICATIONS This show is conducted in accordance with the rules of the USEF, Arabian Horse Division. EVERY CLASS OFFERED HEREIN WHICH IS COVERED BY THE RULES AND SPECIFICATIONS OF THE CURRENT USEF RULE BOOK WILL BE CONDUCTED AND JUDGED IN ACCORDANCE THEREWITH. Any changes or corrections of the rules will be automatically become part of this premium list. Each participant in the show is responsible for knowledge of and is subject to the USEF Rules. Exhibitors are encouraged to read the USEF Rule book, and particularly the complete Arabian and Half-Arabian Horse rules, class descriptions and judging specifications. The show committee will decide questions not covered by the USEF Rules, and its decision will be final. Breeding/Gelding in-hand classes will use the In the Ring Class Procedure and the Comparative Judging system will be in place. You can view this procedure in the 2019 USEF Rule book AR107. Half-Arabian and Anglo-Arabian Show Champions and Reserve Champions shall be at least two years old and are selected as outlined in GR810.5. Half-Arabian and Anglo-Arabian yearling geldings may compete for Champion gelding. Purebred yearling geldings may compete for Champion gelding. In a Breeding section of the Arabian division, the Junior, Senior or Show (Grand) Championship will be awarded to one of the horses which has placed first in a qualifying class. Qualifying classes for championships must be designated in the prize list. After the Championship has been awarded, the horse which has placed second in the qualifying class to the horse awarded the Championship shall compete with the remaining first place winners for the Reserve Championship. Sport Horse Division: In Hand Entries will be accepted on a first come/first served basis. Sport Horse in Hand classes will use the Triangle pattern. Refer to USEF Subchapter AR-12. SHIH Championship Classes will be based on Scores received in qualifying classes and do not need to be entered. Post entries for In Hand will be accepted to fill scratched classes, and under the same rules as govern other performance classes. SHIH CLASSES MAY NOT RUN IN CLASS ORDER. Lead-Line: Open to riders who are at least two years of age and have not reached their seventh birthday as of December 1, 2018. Rider is exempt from AHA and USEF membership requirements. Refer to the USEF rulebook Subchapter AR-28 Lead-line section for more information. Liberty class Time allowed per horse is 2 minutes with two handlers permitted in the ring. Must be caught within 2 minutes or entry will be disqualified. No splint boots, bell boots or whips over six feet. Music (if desired) must be provided to the show office prior to the beginning of the session. Tapes must be cued to the correct location, and clearly marked with horse s name, exhibitor number, and music title. To be judged on presence, animation, and way of going. Ranch Horse Riding: The Ranch Horse Riding horse should reflect the versatility, attitude, and movement of a working horse. The horse s performance should simulate a horse riding outside the confines of an arena and that of a working ranch horse. This class should show the horse s ability to work at a forward, working speed while under control by the rider. Light contact should be rewarded and horse does not have to be shown on a full drape of reins. The overall manners and responsiveness of the horse while performing the Walk/Trot-Jog/Canter-Lope and the extended jog & extended lope (at least one direction), and the horse s quality of movement are the primary considerations. Patterns available in office. Sport Horse Walk Trot: Will be judged on attitude, manners, performance, suitability of horse to rider, quality and conformation. Will enter the ring counter-clockwise at a walk. To be shown both directions of the ring at the walk and trot/jog only. Riders may crossenter sport horse canter classes. Walk-Trot 10 & Under Classes: Open to riders 10 years old and under. A rider must have never been judged in a class at a recognized or non-recognized competition that required a lope or canter. Stallions are prohibited. Riders are not allowed to cross-enter any other classes except Breeding/In-Hand, Showmanship, or other Walk-Trot classes. Walk-Trot 11 & Over: English, Country English, Hunter, or Western tack and attire. Will be judged on attitude, manners, performance, suitability of horse to rider, quality and conformation. Riders in this class are allowed to cross-enter canter classes at this show. Will enter the ring counter-clockwise at a walk. To be shown both directions of the ring at the walk and trot/jog only. 21
