Rachel Anderson from Illinois has moved into the area and has a vast knowledge in working with horses and 4-H kids. She was formally a club leader in Illinois and had tremendous success teaching young people about the horse project. Her goal is to have a hands on 4-H club that works out monthly at the Cherokee County fairgrounds. She is an expert in teaching the various riding techniques as she has competed on a national scale. However, before we jump in head first she would like to gage the interest level of starting a 4-H club. We are asking 4-H member that are interested in participating to call the office and let us put you on a list and we are going to have a meet and greet with Rachel on June 21 st at 6:00pm. 4-H Horse members, this is something you have asked for, make sure you let us know if you want us to proceed.
