PURPOSES OF CLUB To provide students a program that consists of 6 trips to Mt. High Resort. To provide students with the building blocks they need to become safe and happy winter sports participants. To provide students with valuable tools such as responsibility, etiquette and environmental awareness that can be used both on the mountain and in the classroom.
To arrange for discussions on snowboard and ski related topics. To encourage the sharing of snowboard and ski related books, magazines, videos, bulletins, newsletters and general information. To inform students of upcoming events, festivals and contests.

REQUIREMENTS Members must maintain a C or above grade in all current classes. Members must maintain citizenship points at 90 points or above. Grades and points MUST be at the before mentioned levels the Friday PRIOR to the trip. Students must make-up ALL missed schoolwork. All students will be reviewed on a case-bycase basis.
RULES ALL SRTMS school rules will be enforced. All members must wear their own pass. Any member in possession of drugs, alcohol or a weapon; or is reported by ANY Mt. High Official or SRTMS Chaperone of fighting, theft or defiance will be removed from the program immediately. Parents will be required to pick up dropped members at Mt. High Resort. There will be NO make-ups, vouchers or refunds for missed trips.
RENTALS All members renting equipment from Mt. High Resort or other private institutions are responsible for all fees due to damage, loss, theft or negligence. SRTMS accepts NO responsibility for damage, loss, theft or negligence.
SAFETY All members MUST participate in an ability based training session on the first trip. Helmets are required for ALL regardless of ability. Wrist guards and girdles are HIGHLY recommended for BEGINNERS. Students may NEVER ski / ride above their ability. Students that frequently display unsafe behavior or ski / ride above their ability may have the lift ticket confiscated for the evening, be excused from a future trips or the program.
IN THE EVENT OF INJURY Minor Injuries - Student will receive medical attention on the mountain, parent will be contacted via phone, student will ride the bus home, and parent will transport student locally for medical care. Major Injury - Student will be transported to Loma Linda Medical Center for medical attention via medical transport. Parent will be contacted via phone. Parent must drive to Loma Linda Medical Center.

MONEY Snowboard / Ski packages do NOT include meals. Big Pines Base Lodge offers meals (hot-dogs, hamburgers, fries, nachos, burritos, soup, chili) and drinks (hot chocolate, soda, tea) for $10.00-$15.00. Students are not allowed to eat at the Bull Wheel Restaurant Friday Pasta Nights are back! $5.00 Parents MAY pack a snack for members to eat on the bus ride. Students are required to lock all belongings in a locker. Lockers = $1.00 every time opened. Students are encouraged not to share lockers and to bring several $1.00 bills for token machine.
CLOTHING Waterproof Pants Waterproof Jacket Waterproof Gloves Helmet Hat/Beanie Extra pair of socks. Dress in layers. Goggles with clear/yellow lens.
