Fundamentals We will accept any technique that is simple, effective and better than any existing technique All students must be physically fit for training. If the student has an injury or is to be considered not 100% well, the student must inform the instructor. Any student has the right to turn down an exercise if it is considered to have potential danger for the student (ex. Due to an injury or equal). Any student who is considered to be a danger to the fellow students is to be expelled from training. It is recommended that all students have a medical check before starting the Krav Maga Survival training. All Students must present themselves clean and with washed clothing at training. Further all nails must be held short and the student is not allowed to wear any jewellery or likewise. Push up s are performed on the knuckles. Women are allowed to do the exercise resting on the knees. If it is difficult to perform all push up s in one series the men can also go the knees. It is important that the exercise doesn t stop. No kick is performed higher than at groin level in the basic training. In sparring high kicks can and should be used for gaining flexibility and to learn to defend against high kicks. All training units start and end with showing respect from and to instructor and students. The class will end with all instructors and student clapping off (shaking hands). As we train with sparring including Full-Contact it is important that we begin and end training with respect to each other. The solution is based on a Keep It Simple - Stupid KISS Philosophy and must always be very simple to perform. The Target is to give the Student an effective self-defence and "Active Combat Solutions" within a very short period of time. The solution is NOT based on hoping for pity from an opponent, but will force yourself to take the lead and create your own opportunity for victory. Surrender is Not an Option Any potential dangerous encounter that ends without a fight - is a victory "There are no rules in defeating violence with Honour": Israeli Close Combat Master. Never be too proud to learn more" Taiyo Tactical Survival Training The TST is creating a basis for the student to learn NOT to get into combat trouble. The solution is working with ideas to foresee potential trouble and avoiding them. TST teaches the student to handle a potential contact situation and have a plan before an inevitable contact occurs. 3
TST also teaches how to end the situation fast and what to do after a critical encounter. TST is a solution for life Survival. 6 STEP FIGHTING TECHNIQUE: 1. Realizing Problem. 2. Out of Contact range. 3. 1st Contact control Block/redirect attack. 4. Simultaneously attack (same time as # 3) create distraction. 5. Control - Neutralize depends on situation/opponent. 6. Finish situation, - call police / run away!!! WE CAN DO IT ALL!!! 4
