KEY FACTS & FIGURES 1.931 towns and cities from 47 countries participated in EMW 2013, potentially reaching millions of citizens In 2013, some 730 cities organised a car free day event 8,035 permanent transport measures were implemented during EMW 2013, mainly improving cycling, walking & public transport besides planning for sustainable mobility
