Lakes Corvette Club Newsletter January 2019

President s Message Our annual Holiday Banquet on December 7 th at Medford Village Country Club kicked off the month of December in style. Medford Village Country Club not only had the facility looking festive, they put out a buffet spread that was exceptional. All enjoyed the selection of food and the entertainment supplied by Vic Rubino. For those who were unable to attend, the night was filled with conversation, eating, drinking and what members have called my joke of the year. Although Len Kirkuff was not in attendance to lead the gang on the dance floor, several of the waitresses assisted with the electric slide. A GREAT night was had by all and time passed quickly. The 11:00pm whistle sounded and we were cordially reminded that the evening was over. Next stop on our schedule is the caravan to the Silver Diner in Cherry Hill. Hope many of the members can make this venture. It s great to see the line of Vettes heading down Rt38 and lining the front of the diner with Americas Sports Cars. Of course the main attraction for me is the banana stuffed French toast. Um Um good. Don t forget, the ballots are out for the Board positions to be filled. All candidates are more than qualified for the positions they are running for, and although only one member can be elected, I m sure all candidates will assist on the needs of the Club. The successful candidates will be identified at our meeting on January 15, 2019. Hope all had a wonderful Hanukkah, Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year celebration and I look forward to 2019 being another successful year for the Club. Just remember, we drive like every day is Saturday only when the temperature is above 20 degrees. Ted
