Pres Says. I think it is late June, a few days away from July, with all the rain & cold weather, it is hard to tell. I HAVE FISHED 2 TIMES FOR MUSKY, DID NOT SEE ANY THE FIRST TIME, THE 2-ND TIME, I was fishing our outing on the river with Cliff B. & Larry S., it was cold & windy. We saw one small one & I had one good size one explode at my top water. We had a lot of action with snagging tree branches in the water & out of the water. I also snagged a boat lift cover, my biggest ever caught. That was all the action we had all day. There were small ones caught, some big ones missed, and Dayland S. got a 33 1/2 " to win the outing for our Club. There were 23 fishing not many from Bill's club. We got to take the trophy home. Thanks to Larry at Bahamas for great food again. Thanks to everyone that came to the outing. We hope to have more people next year. Nick Star won the Musky Rod on the raffle, & Jeff D. won the musky net for a door prize. Our next outing will be with Bill's Club on Lake Wausau in Oct.. All the info will be in our news letter in Aug. We need more members to sell or buy Ranger Boat Tickets, get them at a meeting or call me to get them. We have photos of the Boat if you want one, it helps to sell tickets. We need some speakers for our meetings, I have a few names, but nothing confirmed yet. WE SHOULD HAVE A SPEAKER FOR JULY, But not sure who yet. Call Big D with a name if you know of someone. I've been trying to get a guide that fishes for Musky with Fly Rods. Will see if we can get him. LET'S ALL MEMBERS TRY TO BRING A FRIEND OR JUST A NEW PERSON TO A MEETING, MAYBE THEY WOULD WANT TO JOIN OUR CLUB. We have DVD'S of great guides fishing for Musky's, you can check them out from Leon Check at a meeting. We might even watch some of these at a meeting if we do not have a speaker. DON"T FORGET THAT THE JULY MEETING IS ON JULY 10th. See you at the meeting, Be safe on the water, bring in a story & a photo of your fish. Big"D" ADULT YOUTH (15 AND UNDER)
