Our Mission Statement: To inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens. Boys &Girls Club Week April 8 th -12 th Monday: International Day (5:15-6:30pm) Each of our six homework rooms will transform into a different country. All members will receive a passport that they can get stamped as they visit different classrooms. In each room, members will have the opportunity to sample a food dish from the native country, or participate in an activity that is common in that country! We hope you join us as we celebrate our world and the wonderful differences each culture has! Tuesday: Messy staff challenges (5:00pm- 6:00pm) The staff is at it again with a series of messy games and challenges that will put their skills to the test! Cheer on your favorite counselor as they compete in events such as messy Twister, eat it or wear it challenge, and the ultimate pie-in-the face competition! Wednesday: Club Field Day (5:00-6:00pm) Join in on the fun as we break up into teams and compete in a field day style event. Cheer on your friends and try your best as all club members will try to win in popular field day games! Then everyone will receive a sweet treat! Thursday: Career Day (4:30-6:00pm) Members and guests will have the opportunity to walk around the Club and talk to local professionals and universities about their jobs. They will learn what is offered in the industries represented as well as the education and skills needed to be successful in each field. We will be having a guest presentation from the Sixers Dunk Squad who performs tricks and stunts at all of their games. We are excited to have one of the Squad members here at the Club to give us a demonstration and have a Q&A with our kids. Our hope is that this event will inspire all of our members to work hard, get good grades, and carry on a path towards great futures. Friday: Ice Cream Social Dance Party (4:30-5:30) We all scream for ice cream as we conclude our celebration of Boys & Girls Club Week with a sweet treat for all members and an all-club dance party!

Summer Open House Who: All families interested in camp When: Thursday April 4 th Friday, May 3 rd Time: 6:00-7:30 PM Special Events Come and check out our Summer Camp Open House! You will have the opportunity to tour our facility and have a Q&A with our staff while enjoying some food and drinks. We will be able to give you a rundown of our camp schedule, different field trips and activities that are being offered. If you are interested in learning about our Summer Camp and what we have to offer please come by! Oak Park Family Fun Night Who: All Oak Park students and families When: Friday, April 5 th Time: 6:00-7:30 PM This is an Oak Park only event! Come out and celebrate an evening of games, snacks and prizes for your family! We will also have a moon bounce to jump out your extra energy. There will be a raffle for a bike and a free week of Summer Camp. *Guests will need a signed permission slip! You can find a permission slip at www.npvclub.org!* Easter Egg Hunt When: Friday, April 12 th Who: All Children Time: 6:00-7:30 PM Come out for our first annual Easter Egg Hunt, children of all ages are welcome to join us. We will be searching the entire Club for eggs and prizes. Bring your Easter basket to collect all of your goodies. Sixth Grade Mixer Who: All Sixth Graders When: Friday, May 17 th Time: 6:00-7:30 PM COST: $5 Special Events Calling all sixth graders to our first annual Sixth Grade Mixer! Come and join your fellow classmates as we celebrate your journey to the middle school in the fall. We will have music, food and activities to keep you busy! *Guests are always welcome with a signed permission slip! You can find a permission slip at www.npvclub.org!* Tween Black Light Dodgeball Who: Grades 4, 5, 6 When: Friday, May 24 th Time: 7:00-9:00 PM Cost: $5.00 Spend your Friday night at the Club playing dodgeball with glow sticks, music, food, and drinks! We will transform the small gym into a dodgeball court with black light dodgeballs and more! *Guests are always welcome with a signed permission slip! We will have an afternoon long celebration for the last day of school and homework room. Enjoy food, drinks and treats on your last day at the Club during the school year! SUMMERTIME IS HERE!

Weekly Programs Mad Science When: Mondays, starting April 1 st June 3 rd No Program April 15 th, April 22 nd and May 27 th Age: 6-9 What does a mad scientist do? This is your chance to get wild and wacky in our Club laboratory. We will be making lemon volcanoes, exploding rainbow fizzies and creating edible play dough. There will be other experiments to explore using balloons and batteries. Come out and join our lead mad scientist! You will get to bring your creations home to show your family! Bake It Til You Make It When: Tuesdays, April 2 nd June 4 th No Program April 16 th & May 21 st Age: 8-12 Do you want to learn how to make and bake your own food? This will be your chance to see if you can be a top contender in the kitchen. We will be exploring different utensils and gadgets to create our own masterpieces and there will be a new recipe to try each week. Will you be the next B&G Club Top Chef? If so, are you ready to give it a whisk?! Torch Club When: Mondays, starting April 1 st June 3 rd No Program April 15 th, April 22 nd and May 27 th Age: 9-11 Want to spend time building friendships, having fun and being an important part of the Club? Join Torch Club! This program, for members 9-12 years old, will give you a sense of belonging, a sense of community, and will teach you leadership skills. Each week Torch Club members will hang out, play games, and plan fun projects. Torch Club members will also participate in fundraisers for service projects and fun field trips! Key Club When: Wednesdays, starting April 13 th May 29 th No Program April 17 th Time: 4:30-5:30 PM Age: 12+ Join us for Key Club where members will have the opportunity to take awesome field trips. You will have the chance to make an impact on our local communities by volunteering your time. We will complete rewarding service projects that will be an educational experience for all. Weekly Programs Boys II Men Club When: Wednesdays, starting April 3 rd May 29 th No Program April 17 th Age: Boys ages 8-12 Would you like to learn how to cook on the grill and use tools to build things? This is your opportunity to learn life skills from a Club role model. During this program the boys will also learn manners, proper respect, and behavior towards others. For the last session each gentleman will treat the lady in their life to a special dinner! Come out and get your hands dirty! Mini Medical Club When: Wednesdays, starting April 3 rd May 29 th No Program April 17 th Age: 10+ Did you ever think about being a nurse or a doctor? This is your chance to see what it is all about. We will have different professionals visiting the program such as a veterinarian and a local EMT. They will be teaching you how to use a stethoscope, take temperatures and wrap a wound. You will also learn how vets care for animals. If it is your dream to work in the medical field this Club is for you! Modern Day Princess When: Thursdays, starting April 4 th June 6 th No Program: April 18 th and May 23 rd Age: Girls ages 6-9 Have you ever dreamt about the life of a princess? You will have the opportunity to sing, dance and sparkle like a princess. You and your fellow princess friends will pamper each other during a mini spa session. The girls will also make special jewelry for their costumes. The last week the princesses will dress up and have a tea party with their friends!

Athletics & Fitness Hot Shots Basketball When: Tuesdays, April 2 nd May 28 th No Program April 16 th & May 21 st Time: 6:00-6:45 PM & 6:45-7:15pm Age: Boys & Girls ages 10-13 Cost: $10 league fee plus a 2019 Club membership fee of $20 for any non-current members When: Thursdays, starting April 4 th June 6 th No Program: April 18 th and May 23 rd Time: 6:00-6:45 PM & 6:45-7:15 PM Age: Boys & Girls ages 6-9 Cost: $10 league fee plus a 2019 Club membership fee of $20 for any non-current members Hot Shots Basketball will teach your child the fundamentals of the game and good sportsmanship with a focus on fun! If signups permit, players will be assigned a team that will play on a rotating schedule. A game schedule will be handed out on the first night and players will be informed of their assigned team via phone and e-mail prior to the first game. Bend It Like Yogi! When: Tuesdays, starting April 2 nd June 4 th No Program April 16 th and May 21 st Time: 6:00-6:45 PM Age: 6-9 When: Fridays April 5 th May 31 st No Program April 19 th Time: 6:00-6:45 PM Age: 10+ Come and stretch away your stress! Students will learn basic postures (called asanas) and will practice breathing before ending class in a guided meditation. Yoga has been shown to help reduce stress and improve focus in children and young adults. Come see what it s all about! On the last day of class, we will have a special parent and me class, where parents can practice with their child if they choose!

Registration begins Monday, March 4th. Registration remains open until all spots are full. In order to register, a minimum of first session payment must be paid on the day of registration as well as $20.00 for a current 2019 membership, if needed. The balance must be paid by Friday, June 7th, 2019. Summertime is the best time! The excitement and affordability of our summer camp makes it the hottest spot in town. At our summer camp, your child will be sure to have a rewarding and fun filled summer. Our camp is professionally run and provides quality care in a supportive environment. Your child will pick and choose from a variety of structured recreational and educational activities. Each Club will take exciting field trips to different destinations throughout the summer. Pool trips to the Whites Road Pool will be held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for ages 7 to 12. All pool trips are an additional fee of $10.00 and may have age restrictions. In addition to all of our trips, we celebrate themed weeks with dress up days such as Super Mario Week, Under the Sea Week, and Olympic week, to name a few. ATTENTION: North Penn campers will be provided with FREE breakfast (served at 10:00) and lunch (served at 12:00) every day! Sample menus are available upon request. Campers may be dropped off at 7:30 AM but no later than 9:00 AM. Campers arriving after 9:00 AM will not be allowed to attend that day. All campers MUST be picked up by 6:30 PM. Camp fee includes a summer camp t-shirt Registration must be done in person. All camp registration fees are nonrefundable. If your child is suspended from camp, a refund WILL NOT be given If campers wish to bring a guest, they MUST call two days ahead for Director s approval and pay a $30.00 fee All signups for field trips begin on the Monday of the week of the field trip. Field trip registration is open until the trip is full. Field trips have limited spaces, age restrictions, and are on a first come, first serve basis. Cash or check only Kickin it with Camp 360 Are you 13 years of age or older? If so, this is your chance to join our first ever camp with Success 360. Come and enjoy activities, games, and trips, all designed with your teen in mind! Enjoy cooking, water fights, film-making, sport competitions, music making, team building activities, art designing, and so much more! This camp is specifically for teens who want to spend time with their friends during the summer. There will be different activities, games, and crafts each day. We are also planning a few new and exciting field trips for our teens. The 360 camp will run from 11:00 AM -4:00 PM each day but you still have the opportunity to drop off your child at 7:30 AM. Between the hours of 7:30 AM and 11:00 AM your teen will be a Junior Counselor and have the opportunity to shadow counselors, participate in job training, learn about conflict resolution, scheduling, and programming. After 4:00 PM, 360 campers have the opportunity for free time until 6:30 PM. If you are interested in signing up your child for a safe, fun, and exciting place to spend their summer do not wait! Summer Brain Gain Are you stressed about the possibility of summer learning loss? If so, this is an opportunity to pump the brakes on the summer slide and keep your kids engaged. The Club will be offering a fun themed weekly program that is educational for ages 6 & up that runs for 45 minutes each day during summer camp. Our goal is to keep your child learning while engaging in new and exciting reading activities. This program is sign-up only.
