Fundraising Sport Relief HLG - Last term the Sports Council organised events to fundraise for Sport Relief. This included the Sport Relief Mile, which students were sponsored for. This entailed running 9 laps of the Multi Games Court! Kobi (Y10) set the record time by running in 6 minutes 18 seconds. A big well done to all the students who took part and raised money! On the second day the Sports Council took on the Staff in the Sport Relief Row Off. This entailed 45 minutes rowing shared out between the teams. Due to the amount of money Sports Council raised they were given 1000 meter head start. After a tense and tiring Row Off, the Sports Council managed to Row 9,668 meters!! However, the staff managed to Row 11,250 meters and won the event! A huge thank you to all the Staff involved and especially to the Sports Council who took part in the event. A fantastic total of 272.60 was raised! Sport HLG - The year 8 Netball team took part in the city tournament on Tuesday 20 March, the girls finished 4 th overall out of 10 schools and we are extremely proud of their performance. WELL DONE!! Rugby 2 / 8

CHW - Students were all involved in the rugby fixture on the 22 March with Merrill. For many it was their first ever rugby fixture and they were an absolute credit to college. The final score was 25-25 with Pawel scoring four tries and Lin scoring the final try. Chyahm was outstanding throughout in the tackle and Pawel was terrific with the ball in hand. All students were a credit to themselves despite their first outing as a team. Please have a conversation with these students about the game as we are really trying to relaunch rugby as a college and give opportunity to students that perhaps wouldn t usually play team sports in a competitive situation, as well as a chance to represent the college. Thanks for your support. What Went Well Year 7 Enterprise Challenge The winning team were: Grace, Muskaan, Holly, Erin, Annie, Alisha, Eli-Mae, Avneet and Keara. Feedback from the winning team included: scoring 10/10 really enjoyable working together to develop a business idea I learnt how to calculate profit. 3 / 8

Notifications IC CEH - We will be inviting some suitable younger students to become Junior library assistants, offering them a chance to spend some of their break and lunch-times in the IC gaining a little work experience and confidence. Although this will not take place in at tutor times or in the evenings due to logistics of cover and supervision, we are hoping that they will be able to pop in for 10-15 minutes when they are free and just get on with certain tasks. We will see how this goes and possibly extend it once the scheme is proven. If you see one of your tutees with a library logo badge (if they choose to wear it) then please have a chat with them about it. 6 / 8
