If your child is ever in need of medication we ask that you please bring it in to the office and fill out a form with the appropriate dosages indicated. We will of course continue to care for any children that are injured while on campus by supplying band-aids and ice as needed. We have been totaling each classroom s spirit points all year and at the end of the school year, the class with the most spirit shirt participation will win an ice cream party. It has been a tight race between some classes, but it s anybody s game! All K-5 th grade classes are participating. COOKIES Thursdays the cast of the Middle School Musical NRG, will be selling cookies and brownies at snack time. The proceeds will go toward the costumes for the show. 2 large cookies or brownies for $1.00. Plan now to attend this musical extravaganza on March 25 & 26.

MIXED BAG The company we used for our fundraiser, Mixed Bag Designs, has made us a great offer to continue our fundraiser in a very low maintenance way all year. COACH S CORNER Mountain Valley Christian Jr. High League Boys Continue on in Undefeated In Baseball Season The Boys added two more last week to extend their winning streak to 7 0. The Cougars defeated Calvary Chapel Moreno Valley and mercied Temecula Prep, 13 to 3. Winning pitcher for the Temecula Prep game was Jake M., with Blake K. recording the win. In the first inning of play the Cougars hit three homeruns in a row, one by pitcher Jake M., one by the catcher Nick A., who also hit a triple, and one by Brandon M. The Boys will end their season away this week with three games, Baptist Christian of Hemet, California School of the Deaf, Riverside, and Bethel Christian in Riverside. Players representing Crossroads this year are, 6 th graders, Brice B., Blake K. Kyle C., and Brandon C. 7 th & 8 th graders are, Nick A., (continued on page 3) Family Ice Skating Fun! Doesn't all this chilly weather put you in the mood for a little ice skating? Come join CCS families Sunday, Jan. 30th from 1:30-3:00 at the OC Ice Palace! (24631 La Palma Ave. Yorba Linda) The cost for ice time and skate rentals is $13 at the door, and if we have over 35 skaters attend Ice Palace will donate 50% back to CCS. What a great chance for some family fun while supporting our school!

Lady Cougars Continue to Win The girls softball team took two more games last week defeating Calvary Chapel Moreno Valley, 18 to 1, and Temecula Prep, 8 to 4. The winning pitcher for both games was Ashley Co. In the game against Temecula, lead off hitter Kylie V., hit a homerun. The ladies have three games this week and could finish the week with their first league title if they win all three. This week the Cougars will travel to Redlands Christian to face another one of their four teams.
