AHA MEMBERSHIP: All Arabian or Half-Arabian/Anglo Arabian horses entered in any Arabian Horse Association (AHA) approved show shall be owned by a member of the Arabian Horse Association, with a Competition Card, or the horse owner shall pay an additional single event membership fee of $35 per person. Any trainer, driver, rider or halter handler who exhibits Arabian or Half-Arabian/Anglo Arabian horses in the show ring or signs the entry form as the responsible person for any individual s horse(s) at the show must be a member of AHA or pay an additional single event membership fee of $35x per horse. A PHOTOCOPY OF YOUR AHA MEMBERSHIP COMPETITION LEVEL CARD MUST ACCOMPANY YOUR ENTRY. A copy of a Coggins taken within 12 months of the show dates must accompany each entry. All fees must be paid and information supplied before receiving packet. Entries are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, based on postmark date and entries shall be limited. Those entries postmarked after closing will be accepted at the discretion of the show secretary, based on a space available basis and charged a $15 late fee. If the classes are oversubscribed, a Waiting List (in the order of draw) will be maintained. Management reserves the right to refuse any entry. Cancellations prior to closing date will be refunded, less office fee.

Junior Exhibitor: Limited to riders who have not yet reached their 18th birthday. For horse show purposes, the age of an individual on December 1st of the previous year shall be maintained throughout the entire year. All Medal Classes: Open to juniors who have not yet reached their 18th birthday prior to December 1. AHA medal classes with pattern must be held regardless of number of competitors. An AHA Medal class must have a minimum of three (3) competitors with proper appointments in order to have an AHA Medal awarded. For AHA Medal Classes with fewer than three (3) competitors Medal points will be earned. (Refer to Article 1709. (Res. 34-97) (Res. 1-97) (Res. 30-98) The official number of entries shall be the number of riders that are properly entered and appear in the arena at the time the gate is closed. A rider that is excused or eliminated during the class will not reduce this number. Refunds: No refunds will be given after closing date. Closing date is May 1. Management reserves the right to cancel any classes due to hazardous weather, Acts of God, accident, or emergency. Every effort will be made to reschedule with priority given to any qualifying classes being offered. No refunds for cancellations due to hazardous weather, Acts of God, accidents or emergencies. Non-showing horses allowed on grounds, if space available. Owner must fill out entry form and pay office, non compete, and stall fees. Horses must wear show numbers at all times when out of stall. Management reserves the right to change officials, limit entries, combine or cancel classes, and modify the schedule, and to modify or cancel awards and/or make whatever changes are required by circumstances to the competition specifications listed herein. Show Management reserves the right to cancel classes insufficiently filled and to refuse or require withdrawal of an entry for cause deemed sufficient by Show Management. Scores: It is the responsibility of the competitor to verify the accuracy of all scores. Scoring errors must be reported to the Show Secretary within one hour of the official posting of the scores from the last class of the show day during which the score was earned. Stabling Stalls: Stalling is optional. Beautiful permanent stalls are 10 x10 or larger with full doors. Stall fee includes initial shavings. Floors are rubber mats. Shavings: Additional shavings are available for purchase through the show office prior to the show or during the show for $8/bag. You are welcome to bring your own shavings. Please, no straw bedding. Availability: Stalls are available Friday 9 am until Saturday 7 pm. All stalls must be vacated by 7 pm Saturday unless participating in the clinic. Grounds Fee: Horses not stalling will pay a $30 grounds fee to help cover the cost of the facility. Tack: Tack stalls are not available but there is space for tack next to stalls. If additional tack space is needed, alternative stabling is available. Please note this preference on show entry. Groups: Please note stalling groups with your entry. Show secretary is a lousy mind reader!

B. Arenas Footing: Sand/rubber outdoor ring and GGT felt/rubber/sand indoor ring. The show area footing has been called the best footing in the Midwest by multiple judges and clinicians. Arena Size: Small ring (20m x 40m) may be used for Introductory and Training level tests 1 and 2 and Western Introductory and Western Basic tests. All other classes will be in the 20m x 60m ring. Schooling o Horses may work in the warm-up and show rings until 9 pm on Friday. Lights out at 9 pm. o Hand walking around the indoor show arena on show day is permitted at designated times. o Warm-up is outside in a full sized arena. o Lunging is available in designated round pen only. C. RV: No RV accommodations. Self-contained RVs are welcome to park on the grounds. D. Facility Location and Parking Directions: from Highway 51 and Fairgrounds road, go south to 56 th street. Turn west on 56 th and proceed to York Road (1 9/10 miles). Go north on York Road at sign: Valley View Dressage. Or, from Highway 33 and Fairgrounds road go north to 56 th then west as above to sign. Courtesy: Drive slowly past any horses in the outdoor rings and wait for horses moving from warmup to the show arena. This applies to arriving and leaving vehicles and trailers. Please be respectful. About our Clinicians Melissa Creswick - Melissa Creswick is a USDF Gold, Silver and Bronze medalist and is currently competing at the FEI levels. She is the past president of the California Dressage Society and holds USEF S dressage judge and r sport horse breeding judge licenses. She was the head trainer at Clovis Training center until it was sold in 2009. Melissa is a positive teacher who understands the competitor s and the judge s show ring perspectives. Paula Lacy - Paula Lacy is a USEF licensed "S" Dressage judge who has competed, taught and trained to the Grand Prix level. She is known for her ability to clearly communicate the principles of dressage to all levels of riders and with all kinds of horses. Michael Osinski Michael Osinski is the recipient of the USDF Bronze, Silver, and Gold medals and has had multiple Horse of the Year placing with his own horses. He has coached the area s NAYRC team and has helped numerous students achieve their USDF gold medals. He has tremendous empathy for the horse and rider. Mike is a gifted communicator who studies classical dressage and is an active competitor and S judge. Thomas Poulin - Tom Poulin has been an influential member of the American dressage community longer than many riders today have been alive. In his lengthy career, he has been recognized as a top rider, trainer, USEF S judge, instructor, and clinician. He is one of the driving forces behind the growth of dressage as a sport in the US.

Lurena Bell Lurena Bell is a popular clinician who teaches in Oklahoma multiple times during the year. She has earned USDF Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals and won numerous Region 9 Championships ranging from training through Grand Prix. She has competed on a variety of breeds of horses. Debbie Riehl Rodriguez Debbie Riehl Rodriguez has worked in the horse industry since 1974. She earned USDF Bronze, Silver, and Gold medals on horses she trained herself. She has won numerous Horse of the Year awards, both locally and nationally, at all levels. She is a licensed USEF S Dressage judge and R Sporthorse Judge who travels extensively judging and giving clinics. Debbie is also a Faculty Member of the USDF L Education Program. Sue Kolstad - Sue Kolstad has dedicated her life to the study and promotion of dressage, hunter/jumper, eventing, and combined driving. She is a USDF Bronze, Silver and Gold Medalist, a certified riding instructor and is a USDF "S" judge. Sue has trained and competed numerous horses to FEI levels and three talented individuals to Grand Prix.
