KENNY CHERY Baylor Bears Junior Guard Montreal, QC GP: 33 MPG: 28.7 PPG: 11.0 RPG: 2.4 APG: 4.9 STL: 0.9 Two Canadians have led the Baylor Bears this season. Most know of sharp-shooting Brady Heslip, but Chery is an irreplaceable floor general that every team needs. The young PG will be key for the Bears to have a shot in the tourney. MELVIN EJIM Iowa State Cyclones Senior Forward Toronto, ON GP: 31 MPG: 31.9 PPG: 18.1 RPG: 8.5 APG: 1.8 STL: 1.2 Ejim has been playing off the charts this season. The senior small forward, who leads the Big 12 in scoring (18.1 ppg), has begun to separate himself from his peers and has some basketball pundits thinking NBA draft. For a small forward, he fills the stats sheet perfectly great rebounder, solid defender, and effective passer.
BRADY HESLIP Baylor Bears Senior Guard Burlington, ON GP: 34 MPG: 26.8 PPG: 11.9 RPG: 1.3 APG: 0.9 STL: 0.5 Heslip is lights-out from three-point range this season. The 2013 DMNT and SMNT member is proving to the rest of the basketball universe that he is one of the most coldblooded shooters in the college game today and a true three-point specialist. NAZ LONG Iowa State Cylones Sophomore Guard Mississauga, ON GP: 33 MPG: 19.9 PPG: 7.0 RPG: 1.5 APG: 1.2 STL: 0.2 A three point-specialist if you ever saw one, Long has a knack for hitting big time shot in big-time moment. Averaging just under 20 minutes, he provides an offensive spark off the bench that can change a game.
STEFAN NASTIC Stanford Cardinal Junior Centre Thornhill, ON GP: 33 MPG: 19.2 PPG: 7.0 RPG: 2.8 APG: 1.2 BPG: 0.9 A presence in the paint and an anchor for the defense, Stefan Nastic is the perfect compliment to his Canadian counter-part Dwight Powell. Nastic is an excellent rimprotector and manages to contest all the shots inside. DYSHAWN PIERRE Dayton Flyers Sophomore Forward Whitby, ON GP: 33 MPG: 26.7 PPG: 11.1 RPG: 5.6 APG: 1.5 STL: 0.6 Pierre of the Dayton Flyers has shown incredible growth from his freshman year to now, increasing his production in nearly every statistical category. He is a solid player with plenty of room to grow.
DWIGHT POWELL Stanford Cardinal Senior Forward Toronto, ON GP: 33 MPG: 32.6 PPG: 14.2 RPG: 6.9 APG: 3.2 STL: 1.2 Powell has continued his solid play in the 2013-14 senior season. One of the more fluid and athletic big men in the NCAA, Powell is working hard to showcase his ability in hopes of making the jump to the NBA next season. Powell usually fills the stats sheet by being a great passing big man and netting high assists on a regular basis. NIK STAUSKAS Michigan Wolverines Sophomore Guard Mississauga, ON GP: 32 MPG: 35.4 PPG: 17.5 RPG: 3.1 APG: 3.4 STL: 0.6 Stauskas has been as productive and consistent as they come in the 2013-14 NCAA season, proving to all that he is one of the top shooters in the NCAA. Additionally, he has demonstrated a level of athleticism that prior to this year, fans were unaware he possessed. He scores inside and out with ease, is a leader on his team and one of the top players in the Big 10.
