August 15 16, 2015 Pittsburgh International Race Complex GPS 201 Penndale Rd, Wampum PA, 16157 Sanction # 15 M 3713 -S Supplemental REGULATIONS This event will be conducted under the 2015 General Competition Rules (GCR) and Category Specifications, as amended for 2015 per Fast Track, and these Supplemental Regulations. Registration and Fees 1. Drivers may register online at www.motorsportsreg.com. Drivers without internet access may request a paper entry from the Chief Registrar, Beth Anslem (see below). 2. The Entry fee for this event is $595.00 (SRF, FE add $20.00 per vehicle. This entry is for one (1) driver/entrant entry, and includes one (1) car, and three (3) crew passes. Additional crew passes will be available for a charge of $10.00 each. Passes will NOT be left at the gate. Any driver/entrant or crew entering the facility outside of regular registration hours may be charged a spectator fee which is Non Refundable. Workers will NOT be charged a fee if they show their Membership card and Worker License. 3. Late Entry; Add $25.00 to the total amount if post marked after July 31, 2015. Eastern Conference Majors Reserved numbers will be held until July 31, 2015, and then will be released. If more than one person in any Group has the same reserved number, conflicts will be resolved based on entry date and time. 4. Drivers/Entrants may include a contribution to the worker funds for this event with their entry. 5. Personal checks and money orders, may be mailed in advance of the event, online payments will be accepted thru Motorsports Reg. Steel Cities Region will accept cash, checks, money orders or credit cards at the track. 6. A $50.00 charge will be assessed for any returned checks. Failure to make a check good within 60 days will result in a suspension of the Driver and/or Entrant s SCCA licenses and membership. 7. Driver name will be drawn at the event party or other designated time. U.S. Majors Tour Express Registration: A dedicated line will be available for drivers holding a 2015 U.S. Majors Tour Series Registration Card. U.S. Majors Tour Express Tech will also be available in the express line for those cardholders that have a valid Annual Tech, 2015 Helmet sticker and no notations in their logbook. If eligible, you will only need to bring your logbook to Registration to receive your event "tech" sticker. AWARDS: Trophies for all races will be awarded in accordance with the GCR. Trophies will be presented at the event. Major's points will be awarded in accordance with the GCR.

DECALS: A U.S. Majors Tour decal must be displayed on both sides of all competition vehicles. Competition vehicles must also display the official SafeRacer SCCA Club Racing decal per GCR section 9.3.29.C. DRIVERS MEETING: Impound All will be given at the end of each of the Qualifying sessions on Saturday morning, for all groups, to conduct a drivers meeting for each group. Impound will be in the Tech Area. Look for the signs for proper direction SPLIT STARTS: The Series Chief Steward will consider requests for split starts and may authorize split starts based on qualifying times. IMPOUND: Saturday Timed races: The top three competitors in each class shall report to impound immediately following the completion of their race. Trophy presentations and photos will occur in the Victory Circle area near impound following the race. Sunday Distance Races: Subject to change, The top three competitors in each class shall report to impound immediately following completion of their race, all other competitors are strongly encouraged to attend the podium festivities following their race. (Impound of all cars is encouraged following Sunday's races.) Victory celebrations and award ceremony will be conducted in the Victory Circle area near impound following Sunday's races. U.S. Majors Tour door prizes will be awarded after each group's podium ceremonies, you must be present to win. RACE LENGTH: Saturday races will be 25 minutes. Sunday races will be 45 Miles (40 min max.). RESULTS: Live timing will be available during the event. Printed results will be available at the Region trailer at the base of the timing tower SPEC MIATA COMPLIANCE: At the direction of the Class Compliance Chief at post-race inspection, Spec Miata participants may be directed to remove parts, specific but not limited to the cylinder head, for disassembly and/or inspection. Competitors are responsible for performing required disassembly and/or reassembly of their car, as well as any resulting expenses incurred. VICTORY LAPS: Winners of all races will receive a checkered flag. However, for Sunday races only, following the cool down lap, the winner of each class should proceed immediately to pit central where they will receive a checkered flag and proceed on course for a single Victory Lap. Drivers need not wear their helmet or gloves during the victory lap, passengers are permitted in accordance with GCR 6.11.7.Drivers shall maintain a safe speed and be wary of safety vehicles that may be on course. GENERAL 1. Sound will be measured as specified in section 5.7.3 (103 db) of the 2015 GCR. All vehicles will be monitored and readings will be posted at the Region trailer below the Timing Tower at lunch and at the end of the day. 2. The Black Flag will be displayed at Station 13 on the back straight, and may also be displayed at Start/Finish. If you are Black Flagged, pull into Pit stall #1 and wait for an official to clear you to resume driving. 3. Availability of scales and times will be posted at Tech. 4. This Event will be open to all drivers holding a valid SCCA Full Competition License, or an SCCA Pro Racing License and current SCCA membership. Proper credentials must be presented at the time of registration. Drivers needing membership or competition license confirmation from the National Office must contact the Chief Registrar Beth Anselm Home # 412-831-0361 no later than Wednesday, August 12th,2015. A fee of $5.00 will be charged for this service. Weekend / Trial SCCA Memberships will be available at registration. 5. The new combined North and South Track is 2.9 miles in length at Pittsburgh International Race Complex. 6. Open practices - The Track will be open Friday August 14, 2015 for practice. Check the PittRace website at www.pittrace.com and look for the link to Motorsports Reg for information and pricing. 7. Garages A limited number of enclosed garages are available for rent on a first come basis. Cost for a garage for the weekend is $200.00. Contact the registrar for a reservation. 8. Track records may only be set in Race sessions using official timing equipment when both the start and end of the timed lap are timed electronically without manual intervention. As this is a new track layout, there are no current track records. New track records will be established this weekend. Be the first to set the track record on the New Combined North and South Track layout. REGISTRATION 9. All minors shall be registered and have a waiver signed by Parents/Custodians. Contact your Region for the appropriate forms. 10. Telephone entries WILL NOT be accepted. No entry will be considered official until all fees are received. 11. Telephone cancellations WILL BE accepted. Full refunds will be given to those entrants who cancel before 9:30PM Thursday August 13, 2015. 12. Registrar will not be responsible for any entries sent by a delivery service that requires a daytime signature or special pickup. 13. The Registrar will not send post cards confirming number choices. The Registrar will contact the driver by phone or email if the first (1st) number choice is not available. 14. Eligibility All cars as listed in the 2015 GCR, 15. All competitors must be prepared to provide OFFICAL FACTORY shop manuals and/or Series Prep Books as required. 16. Upon entering the track, everyone must sign a PIRC waiver at the Front Gate. After signing the PIRC waiver please proceed to the Event Center to complete the SCCA registration. The PIRC waiver is NOT the SCCA EVENT Waiver, everyone must sign BOTH waivers. All officials, workers, drivers, crew, entrants, and guests, must sign the Official SCCA waiver, or show their Hardcard, and be issued event credentials. Drivers and Entrants are responsible for their crew and guests. Everyone entering a HOT area must be an SCCA member, and must wear the valid HOT credential issued for this event. Weekend/trial SCCA memberships will be available at Registration. CONDUCT OF THE EVENT 17. AMB Transponders will be used for timing and scoring. A working transponder is mandatory to be timed and scored. Majors staff and their delegates may install data acquisition equipment in a competitors car. This program is to assist the CRB in competition adjustments, participation is mandatory, not optional and not protestable. The data collected will not be used for compliance purposes. 18. Gridding procedures: The Saturday race will be gridded based on fastest lap in the Saturday qualifying session. The Sunday race will be gridded based on fastest lap in either the Saturday qualifying session or fast lap in the Saturday race. Both races will be awarded full Majors points and trophies at post race recognition. 19. Operation of 2-way radios which interfere with Race Control and Track Communications is prohibited. These frequencies are 151.625, 154.600, 154.570 and other track frequencies. 20. Track announcements will be made over the Track PA system, and may be available on FM Radio. Frequency of the FM Radio will be posted at the Region trailer at the base of the timing tower. 21. Running of un-muffled or loud engines is prohibited between 8PM and 8AM. 22. Only one (1) person per team will be permitted across the pit barrier for the purpose of signaling the driver, and then must return to the pits. 23. Tech will be located in the garage building across from the Timing Tower. For those needing an Annual Tech, they will only be done on Friday, August 14, 2015, from 12:00 pm till 5:00 pm and by appointment only. 24. Post-race Impound will be at the Tech Area. TRACK RULES 25. Pittsburgh International Race Complex is a multi-venue shared facility. All participants are subject to the Pittsburgh International Race Complex Track Rules and Regulations. Copies of the current Track Rules are available at www.pittrace.com and are posted at the track. 26. Water, Compressed Air, and Racing fuel are the responsibility of Pittsburgh International Race Complex and are planned to be available at the track. 27. Pittsburgh International Race Complex Paddock speed limit is 5 MPH. Pittsburgh International Race Complex does not permit ATV's, Pit carts, or other motorized equipment or vehicles to be operated by anyone not holding a valid drivers license. All pit carts, scooters, atv s, golf carts, etc must have their car number and class marked on the vehicle for easy identification as to which car it belongs to, in case it has to be moved. No Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV s or Drones) may be operated by anyone over the Pittrace complex without the specific approval from SCCA, the FAA, and Pittrace. 28. Camping is permitted at the track. Arrangements should be made with the track s management. There may be a fee charged by PIRC. SCCA workers will not be charged a fee. Electrical hookups may be available from the track for a fee, but there are no water or sewer hookups 29. Pittsburgh International Race Complex reserves the right to summarily remove anyone from the property who is found using controlled substances or is under the influence of alcohol, or for any other reasons they may deem necessary.
