Age Groups: Stage 2 Grades 4th through 6th (9 to 12 year olds) Middle School Grades 7th through 8th (12 to 14 year olds) The Neptune league is a rec league that combines structured learning with game play. Our athletes will meet ONCE a week for six weeks to practice and scrimmage. Participants are divided by grade and learn together and compete against one another. Players come in and practice with the TVA Staff and learn the fundamentals of the game. During week six, participants will compete in a season end tournament. Sessions at TVA MAIN (2644 Dean Drive, Virginia Beach, VA 23452): 2018 Spring Session Mondays 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM April 30th, May 7th, 14th, 21st, June 4th & 11th 2018 Summer Session Thursdays 6:00 pm to 8:00 PM June 28th, July 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th, & August 2nd 2018 Fall Session Mondays 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM September 17th, 24th, October 1st, 8th, 15th, & 22nd Sessions at TVA Portsmouth (5807 Portsmouth Blvd, Portsmouth, VA 23701): 2018 Summer Session Wednesdays 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM July 11th, 18th, 25th, August 1st, 8th, & 13th 2018 Fall Session Wednesdays 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM October 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th, November 7th, & 14th *No league on Halloween* Cost: $100.00 per player

Allow local high school boys and girls the opportunity to train and play during the preseason. Dates/Times: Mondays & Tuesdays 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM June 25th, 26th, July 2nd, 3rd, 9th, 10th, 16th, 17th, 23rd, & 24th Format: 30 Minutes of skill work followed by two 45-minute matches (Four sets total) 6 v 6 with teams with a maximum of Seven Players Coaches and Staff: Run by local club, high school, and college coaches. Directed by TVA Youth Director, Dexter Powers. Cost: $100.00 if purchased before June 1st $125.00 if purchased on or after June 1st Registration closes June 24th Building Teams/Individual Registration: Players can request to play with friends, or sign up as individuals and be placed on to teams (Emphasis will be placed to pair up players from the same high school).

TVA Indoor Beach Leagues are open to youth participants during the following seasons: Fall Winter Spring These leagues typically run anywhere from $65 to $85 plus a $20 membership fee. Leagues are eight weeks in length and each team will play two matches a night. This program is first and foremost for fundamental training and providing a stepping stone for athletes who desire to play volleyball competitively. Tournaments: Teams will play in Six indoor tournaments and Two Beach Tournaments Practice: Teams will practice once a week for two hours. Additional Skill sessions will be set up through out the season. Practices will begin the week of December 4th. Coaches: Teams will have two coaches who are 18 years or older and have passed background screening as specified by the AAU. Team Size: Teams will max out at nine players. Jerseys/Equipment: Players will receive one Jersey and one pair of spandex shorts. Kneepads and shoes are to be purchased separately but are available for purchase through the TVA Pro Shop. Memberships: All required memberships will be handled by TVA including but not limited to AAU memberships, USAV memberships and TVA memberships.
