Joyeux Noel - French Club Toy Drive Handy Mira Loma At-A- Glance Calendar Volunteer for Bingo Thou$ands for your Team or Club Mira Loma French Club will be holding its 15th annual toy drive from November 26th until December 19th, 2018 With your help the Mira Loma French Club hope to bring joy to some of the 12,000 Sacramento area children in need. Mira Loma Athletic Handbooks: We ask that you generously give a new toy, which undoubtedly will bring joy to a child this year. This represents the 15 th year we at Mira Loma have diligently worked to make the holidays brighter for all, and wish to thank all of you for your generous donation, and thank the Salvation Army for their on-going role in providing help and refuge to those who are in need. On December 10, the Mira Loma Wind Ensemble will be the featured guest ensemble for a Concert at American River College. This fine ensemble will be performing Powerhouse by Raymond Scott, Carmen Suite by Bizet and the Finale to Symphony #5 by Shostakovich. On December 13, Mira Loma High School will celebrate the holidays with our annual Holiday Concert at 7:00 pm in the small gym. All of our ensembles, Wind Ensemble, Orchestra, Concert Band, Intermediate Band, Choirs, Flute Quartet, Clarinet Quartet & Saxophone Quartet, will perform. The Orchestra will be borrowing two clarinets and two horns, and will play the first movement of Mozart s Symphony #4. There will also be lots of Christmas tunes to get your holiday season started right! There is no admission charge, but donations are gladly accepted at the door. Please join us. Our next IBPO meeting is Wednesday, December 19, @ 6:30pm in F3 ISSPO The International Studies Students Parents Organization, ISSPO, was created to help support the International Studies program at Mira Loma High School. The ISSPO supports the educational and service activities of our IS students through personal example, advocacy, fundraising and financial support. ISSPO helps fund books, materials and field trips costs which otherwise would be passed along to parents. You and your International Studies Student and Parent Organization can have an important and positive impact on your child s enjoyment of these years.
