European Boxing Confederation and Boxing Federation of Russia have a pleasure to invite your Schoolboys Boxing Team to take part in the IX European Schoolboys Boxing Championships Grozny 2011, to be held in the hospitable city of Grozny, Russia on 09-17 July 2011. FACT SHEET OF THE CHAMPIONSHIPS 1. Title of event European Schoolboys Boxing Championships Grozny 2011 2. Competition period Championships period: Competition period : 11-16 July 2011 Arrival : 09 July 2011 Departure: 17 July 2011 3. Program of championships 09 July, Saturday till 12pm Arrival of all delegations to Moscow 12.00-21.00 10 July, Sunday Arrival of all delegations 11 July, Monday General weigh-in and draw Opening Ceremony Preliminaries 12 July, Tuesday Preliminaries 13 July, Wednesday Preliminaries 14 July, Thursday Quarter finals 15 July, Friday Semifinals 16 July, Saturday Finals, Closing Ceremony 17 July, Sunday Departure of all delegations 4. Competition venue Name : Location: Sports Complex «Olympiyskiy» city of Grozny 5. Eligibility of Boxer and Weight Categorids A. Boxers who were born between January 1, 1997 - December 31, 1998 are eligible to participate (ages 13-14) B. The Championships will be staged in 18 Weight Categories: 38,5 kg, 40 kg, 41,5 kg, 43 kg, 44,5 kg, 46 kg, 48 kg, 50 kg, 52 kg, 54 kg, 56 kg, 59 kg, 62 kg, 65 kg, 68 kg, 72 kg, 76 kg, +76 kg. 6. Number of rounds Three (3) rounds of one and half (1,5) minutes, one (1) minute rest between rounds стр. 2 из 5
7. Referees & Judges Each national team can bring one Referee/Judge (even National level) less than 40 years old. 8. Registration A. Boxers: AIBA affiliated National Federations can send only one (1) boxer in each weight category One (1) reserve boxer per weight category may be entered in the final entry form. It is also permissible for a nation to substitute one (1) boxer for another at any time up to the close of the General Weigh-In and the Medical Examination, provided that the substitute boxer has been entered as a reserved one for that weight category or any other weight category B. Number of Team Officials: Each team can have the following number of officials in its delegation: o 1-4 boxers: 3 officials o 5-8 boxers: 4 officials o 9-13 boxers: 5 officials o 14-18 boxers: 6 officials 9. Requirements A. All Boxers must bring to the General Weigh-In the following documents: Record Book with annual medicals duly completed Passport Accreditation Card B. Each Team Delegation must bring the following National flag 1x 1.50m - every participating country National anthem (on MP3 or CD) - every participating country C. Boxer's Uniform: Each boxer must bring two sets of uniform The colors of these two sets of uniform must be completely different. 10. Boxing Equipment The LOC will provide AIBA approved and licensed boxing gloves to all boxers for all bouts. Boxers may bring their own headguards, however, these must be manufactured by one of the AIBA Official Boxing Equipment Licensees and approved by LOC for this event. 11. Transportation A. Airport Receiption: All participants will be welcomed at Moscow Airports. All countries responsible for стр. 3 из 5
travel expenses to/from Moscow. B. Local transportation: LOC will cover the expenses for all participants from Moscow to Grozny and back to Moscow. LOC will provide local transportation between Hotel, Competition Venue and Training Venue(s) during the Championships Period LOC will also provide local transportation for all departures 12. Accommodation for Team Delegations LOC will cover expenses for accommodation of all team delegations on 09 July 2011 in Moscow for one (1) night. In the city of Grozny all teams will be accommodated in the Hotels Grozny and Zama in accordance with following rates:. A. Room rates for Team Delegations are as follows: 40 euro per person per day in single room (1 person per room) with full board 35 euro per person per day in double room (2 persons per room) with full board 30 euro per person per day in triple room (3 persons per room) with full board B. Payment of Hotel room charges: All delegations must p ay the full room charges at the time of check-in in CASH only with EUROs. Delegations will not be allowed to receive hotel room keys if they do not clear the payment of full hotel room charges first. On arrival, the team delegations must make the full payment for the entire Championships period C. Extra persons: 40 euro per person per day in single room (1 person per room) with full board 35 euro per person per day in double room (2 persons per room) with full board We kindly ask you to inform LOC about extra persons in advance. The acceptance of extra guests will be subject to availability of rooms, provided these are reserved with the Organizing Committee on the same date as the closing of final entries. 13. Insurance All participants are requested to get their own travel and medical insurance. LOC will provide the liability insurance only at the Competition Venue for all participants. 14. Medical Care The LOC will provide medical care and first-aid during the entire event to all participants who suffer from a sport injury (contracted during the event). 15. Doping Control Doping control shall be conducted in accordance with the AIBA Anti-Doping Rules and following the World Anti-Doping Code. стр. 4 из 5
16. Medals Gold, Silver and 2 (two) Bronze Medals will be awarded along with diplomas to the winners in each weight category 17. Training Facility The LOC will provide required training facilities (information will be provided upon arrival). 18. Deadline and Registration A. The deadline for Preliminary registration is 31 May 2011(attachment 1). B. The deadline for Final Registration is 10 June 2011 (attachment 2). Also we kindly ask you to send us the photos (in.jpg format) of all members of your team for accreditation purposes together with Final Registration form. C. The deadline for sending arrival/departure details is 15 June 2011. 19. Visa A. The LOC will grant assistance to all delegations on Visa matters. B. Those countries, who need Russian visa should contact in advance with Embassy of Russia in their countries or with nearest Consulate in neighbour countries. Also we kindly ask you to send to LOC copies of passports of all members of delegation and the full list of delegation. Please inform us in what city you will apply for Russian visa.
