Welcome We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our past and future customers for believing in and supporting our program. What a great time to be involved in the cattle industry! We are working to produce efficient, consistent females that will produce bulls that offer calving ease, depth of rib, moderate size, adequate muscle, structural correctness, and fleshing ability and produce offspring with quality carcasses. They must do this on a forage diet. We have a passion for the ranching lifestyle and raising quality Angus cattle. Again this year the bulls where developed on a roughage ration through the winter months and turned onto grass in early May and have been roaming the hills and developing into breeding bulls not fat cattle. Once again the bulls will sell in the Cowboy Auction format that everyone has come to enjoy and appreciate. This year we have video on all the bulls. Viewing Cattle may be viewed at any time up through sale day. We do ask that you phone us to let us know so we will be at home. Terms Cash. All cattle are to be settled for on sale day Absentee Bids Anyone who cannot attend the sale may place or mail bids to Derrick 701-260- 2422. Liability Our cattle are good disposition cattle that are used to being walked through. All persons attending this sale will so at their own risk, legal or otherwise for their safety or the behavior of the animal. We assume no liability for property loss or accidents that may occur. Breeding soundness Exams All bulls have gone and passed a BSE performed by Dr. James Clement, DVM. Bull Development The bulls were weaned December 19, 2016. Wintered on a high roughage ration till May 25 when they went to pasture and will be there up till sale time. Delivery We will personally deliver all bulls sold within 300 miles for free. Delivery will happen at our convenience and shortly after the week of the sale. Cowboy Auction Format We will be using the a cowboy auction format to sell our bulls. There is no auctioneer or bid takers. The bulls will not be run through the ring. But are available to view right outside the sale facility. Each bull has a reasonable, preset base price that is listed in this catalog. Upon Arrival, buyers should register for a bidding number in the sale facility Bulls sell in catalog order. When it is time to sell a particular bull we will ask that those who are interested in that bull, at the base price to raise their buyer number in the air.. If there is only one number in the air, the bull will sold to that bidding number. If there is more than one bidding number in the air, we will increase the base price by $100 increments until only one number remains. This provides a very simple, low pressure way to purchase bulls.
