Blakemore RACE 1: PINJARRA GOLF CLUB MAIDEN - 1000M BUTTERFLY KISS (Aaron Mitchell) - Commenced awkwardly and made contact with the outside of its barrier gate. CHASTZO ROCK (Shelby Bowtell) Steadied from the heels of another runner near the 400m and again near the 300m. DUTUJAGWUN (Ellie Cockram) - Crowded on jumping. EIGHT CHOICES (Clint Harvey) Raced greenly and had a tendency to lay inwards throughout running. EYE ON THE PRIZE (Chanelle O'Grady) Slow into stride. VAMPI LASS (Jarrad Noske) Dwelt on jumping and lost several lengths. When attempting to improve its position from the 600m had difficulty in obtaining a clear passage until near the 250m. RACE 2: PINJARRA FLORAL DESIGNS MAIDEN - 1300M Correct weight was delayed to allow Apprentice Chris Parnham (CENTAVISION) to view the lateral and head on patrol film in the straight and no further action was taken. ANDI'S BOY (Ryan Hill) Held up for clear running from on straightening until taken inwards passing the 200m. Impeded over the concluding stages CENTAVISION (Chris Parnham) Impeded for a short distance and steadied outwards near the 150m. CHEERS CHARLIE (Renee Forrest) Bumped on jumping. Raced wide from the 700m. PATRONUS (Shaun Meeres) - Commenced awkwardly and bumped. Raced wide throughout and carried wider rounding the home turn. HELL'S LADY (Jerry Noske) Held up for clear running from on straightening and raced in restricted room until being taken outwards passing the 200m. SENRAB LEE (Shelby Bowtell) Carried wide rounding the home turn. CORN FLAKES (William Pike) Veered outwards at the start. ROSIE CAN (Colin Haddon) Proved difficult to load. Lay outwards from the 600m despite the efforts of its rider. Trainer Mr M. Sheehy advised that he would effect a bit change in an attempt to have the mare race more tractable. Trainer was advised that if the mare was to re-offend in a similar manner in future further action may be taken against it.
PINJARRA : 20.11.13 91/2 RACE 3: HIPPIE SURF ERSKINE MAIDEN - 1600M MILITARY PRECISION (J. Whiting) was a late withdrawal by Stewards acting on Veterinary advice at 1:43pm due to the mare suffering a bout of colic after arriving on course. Trainer Ms J. Busslinger was advised that the mare would require a Veterinary Certificate of Soundness prior to racing or trialling again. CRIMSON RULER (Shelby Bowtell) Raced keenly through the early stages and wide from the 1000m. UNIQUE JESTER (Shaun O'Donnell) Lay inwards in the straight with the rider changing the whip to his left hand near the 200m with him then having difficulty in riding his mount fully over the final 100m. ALREADY FAMOUS (Shaun Meeres) - When questioned regarding the gelding leading, rider advised that he was instructed to have the gelding positioned midfield with cover if possible, however after commencing well from a wide barrier, and with no runners to his inside showing pace he had elected to allow his mount to stride forward and lead. ELITE FLIGHT (Ben Paterson) Raced keenly through the early and middle stages. COUGAR EXPRESS (Kate Witten) Slow into stride. RACE 4: RUSTIQUE HAIR DESIGN PINJARRA HANDICAP - 1600M FIRST FLIGHT (Chris Parnham) Lay outwards over the final 400m with its rider having difficulty in being unable to ride his mount out fully in the straight as a result. FLIRT WITH TIME (Chanelle O'Grady) Raced wide from the 700m. LEONORA LARRIKEN (Shaun O'Donnell) When questioned regarding the unplaced performance, rider expressed disappointment and advised that although the gelding had raced comfortably it had raced in a flat manner through in the early and middle stages and then as a result failed to run on in the straight. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer Ms J. Erkelens was granted permission to remove the blinkers the blinkers for the gelding s immediate racing future. SOUND BARRIER (Sasha Starley) Slow into stride. STRIKE TWO (Shelby Bowtell) A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. RACE 5: CHICKEN TREAT PINJARRA HANDICAP - 2000M Correct weight was delayed to allow Jockey Shaun O Donnell and Trainer Mr D. Harrison of the second placed REALE FURY to view the head on and lateral view of the straight with no further action being taken. CANYOUSEE ME SMILE (Jerry Noske) Slow into stride. Lay inwards in the straight with the rider changing the whip to her left hand near the 150m. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. MY DIAMOND PEG (Shaun Meeres) Raced wide on straightening. When questioned regarding the unplaced performance, rider advised that the mare had a tendency to lay outwards and felt uncomfortable in its action in the straight. Trainer Ms P. Brown subsequently reported that the mare had recovered well following the race and in her opinion had not been suited to the moderate pace in the event. She further advised that the mare would not start in a race for a period of at least two weeks. VICTOBOUGG (Shaun Mc Gruddy) Raced wide from the 600m. VIEIRA DA SILVER (Renee Forrest) Raced wide from the 600m. RACE 6: SAFEWAY BUILDING & RENOVATIONS HANDICAP - 1000M NUTOPIA (Shelby Bowtell) Lay inwards under pressure over the final 200m.
PINJARRA : 20.11.13 91/3 Race 6 Continued CLASSITHEATRE (Jerry Noske) Bumped at the start. FREETIME (Paul Harvey) Tightened and restrained bumping with another runner on jumping. Steadied outwards when impeded near the 150m. FLYING HERITAGE (Kyra Yuill) Veered outwards abruptly on jumping. THE PUZZLER (Jarrad Noske) A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer Mr C. Gangemi advised that after consultation with connections the gelding will now be retired. DINO MAK (Aaron Mitchell) Impeded for clear running and was taken outwards near the 300m and was again impeded behind the heels of a tiring runner for a short distance near the 150m. ARGENT BIJOU (Ellie Cockram) - Commenced awkwardly. RACE 7: RHINO WATER TANKS HANDICAP (1D - 1400M TITAN KNIGHT (Mitchell Pateman) Bumped shortly after the start. Raced wide from the 800m. Lay inwards in the straight. MOVIES BY BURSWOOD (Kate Witten) Raced wide throughout. RANCHO MAN (Mandy Richmond) When questioned regarding the unplaced performance, rider advised that the gelding had a tendency to lay outwards rounding the home turn and in the straight and felt uncomfortable in its action. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer Mr D. Barker advised he would have the gelding undergo dental treatment and would advise Stewards of any abnormalities over the ensuing days. Trainer later advised that on return to the stables the gelding was found to be shin sore. KIM ALBERT (Jayce Buckley) Dwelt on jumping and lost ground. Steadied when improving onto heels getting its head in the air near the 800m. ANTELPEN (William Pike) Held up for clear running from the 400m until taken outwards near the 250m. ASTRA SKY (Shaun Mc Gruddy) Bumped shortly after the start. SHEEZ ALLGOOD (Chanelle O'Grady) Slow into stride. Steadied when improving onto heels and lost ground near the 800m. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. MISS HEINEKIN (Shaun O'Donnell) Raced wide for the majority of the event. General: Stewards inquired into the reason for SHEEZ ALL GOOD (C. O Grady) improving onto heels and having to be steadied losing ground near the 800m. It was ascertained that RANCHO MAN (M. Richmond) after crossing to the rail approaching the 800m had lost momentum for a short distance resulting in SNITCHS (C. Parham) which was following, to ease with ROSEMARY S ANGEL (S. Bowtell) which was following that mare to be eased also causing SHEEZ ALL GOOD to improve onto heels having to be steadied. Apprentice M. Richmond was cautioned and advised that in similar circumstances when crossing other runners to obtain the lead, she is to ensure she maintains a reasonable pace to avoid field compaction in future. In assessing the incident, Stewards were of the opinion ROSEMARY S ANGEL had over-reacted when being steadied, losing more ground than anticipated. RACE 8: 15 DECEMBER XMAS RACEDAY-BOOKNOW HANDICAP - 1400M KING OF OLYMPIA (Patrick Carbery) Raced keenly through in the early and middle stages, getting its head in the air near the 800m. Held up for clear running from on straightening until the 200m. MYTHICAL CERES (Brad Parnham) Raced wide from the 800m. LET'S HAVACHAT (Shaun Meeres) Raced wide for the majority of the event.
PINJARRA : 20.11.13 91/4 Race 8 Continued BECAUSE I SAID (Ben Kennedy) Raced wide in the early and middle stages until obtaining the lead passing the 600m. PEGAMYSTIC (Ben Paterson) Commenced to race ungenerously leaving the 1200m getting its head in the air on a number of occasions and continued to do so through the middle stages due to the moderate pace. Jockey Clint Harvey (EIGHT CHOICES) was cautioned under ARR.137A(5)(a)(ii) for using the whip in a forehand manner on two additional occasions than permitted prior to the 100m. Race 3. Apprentice Shelby Bowtell (CRIMSON RULER) was reprimanded under ARR.137A(4)(c) and (d) for using an unnecessary amount of whip when her mount was out of contention and showing no response. Race 5. Jockey Shaun O Donnell $100 under (REALE FURY) ARR.137A(5)(a)(ii) for using the whip in a forehand manner on two additional occasions than permitted prior to the 100m. FINES: Race 6. MEDICAL CERTIFICATE: RIDING CHANGE: Apprentice Shelby Bowtell $100 (NUTOPIA) ARR.175(k) for negligence in failing to weigh out in irons. Co-Trainer Mr Bruce Watkins $100 (FLYING HERITAGE) LR.85(a) for failing to advised of a rider by the prescribed time. Jockey Bruce Ohlbrecht (unwell) was unable to fulfil his riding engagement in Race 2 and will require a medical clearance prior to riding again. Race 2.
