I still hold out hope that spring and eventually summer will get here. In that spirit, it is time to turn on the water, open the bath house, open the boats and start to get things ready for another boating season. As always spring clean-up and various repair and maintenance projects will be addressed during the upcoming work-parties. Come on out and help beautify your Club. It s a great way to get some of your work hours in. This is a Yacht Club so it s not all about the work. We still have some great activities coming up too. Mother s Day is just around the corner. Bring your Mother down to the Clubhouse on May 13 th at 9:30a for breakfast (prepared by the Board and served by the Bridge), check the attached flier for details. CRYC is holding their Ladies Salad Supper on May 16 th, and our bar will open on Fridays. Don t miss the Traveling Pizza Man on Friday, May 18 and, as always, don t miss Marty Burger Night on Friday, May 25 th for great food, big fun. Speaking of big fun, what a great time we had at our Comedy Night. Thank you to everyone involved with the planning and execution of this huge event, especially Al and Julie Dubeansky! Vice Commodore s Comments Dale Cover Al Vlach Not much to report ~ spring is sure taking its good old time getting here. The bar is doing awesome! If you have not checked us out on Friday nights, you still have about a month that it'll still be open. Once work party's start, there are a few things to get done in the Clubhouse, so I will be looking for some help. As always, you can reach me by email at avlach@oh.rr.com or text anytime or call after 4:00pm M-F at 440-487-3536. And thanks again for all your support ~ see you at the bar on Friday nights.
