You question, what s this mean to us? We start by getting some outside exercise, picking up twigs and conditioning our lawn for the first mow of the season. I for one need some other type of exercise than surfing the net, checking e-mails, e-bay and craigslist. It also means getting our vehicles out. Every day the streets are filling up with more vintage, classic or limited driving autos. I keep thinking it s time, it s now time to be ready when the weather is right. We all know when you live in Central New York we have to be ready when the weather is ready. So often is the time that these days sneak up on us, we listen to the local forecast and then surprise, the actual temps are better than predicted. I myself often feel that I m late bringing out my cars each year, however the blame is not anybody s but mine. I should be used to it after all these years, but it continues to happen, and chances are it will continue to happen years to come. Our local Syracuse Motorama which kicks off the car show season each year was a success. Ed and Joanne were happy with the turn out and variety of vehicles. They were also happy with the Eurocar and Motorbike fest that occupied the front room of the Center of Progress building. Eurocar and Motorbike participants walked, actually drove away with four trophies this year. Tom our editor has included a youtube.com link in this month s newsletter for a short one minute video of this year s Motorama display. I would like to thank all the participants for bringing their vehicles in questionable weather as well as the spectators that support one of the oldest and largest indoor car shows in New York State. Get in, buckle up and drive then do it again. Mike Mastracco

The Neal entered his car in the 2003 EUROCAR show and asked the judges to kindly not take off any points for the plates. They thought it was pretty funny. Neal is currently the MG Club Secretary. 2

EUROCAR 2016 As we get our classic cars out of storage and on the road for another season of driving around Central New York, our talented EuroCar team continues to move forward with its planning of the 15th Annual EuroCar show at Lorenzo. Get in the Fast Lane Avoid the Hassle! Pre-Register As we implement the decisions from last year's EuroCar wrap-up meeting, the team has been fine-tuning the show to make it more fun for us, the participants and the spectators, as well as easier for us to operate. We hope almost all our club members will be able to make the trip to Cazenovia on Father's Day and enjoy this year's show and the enhancements the team has been making. We may have a supply of tri-folds promotion brochures ready by our regular club meeting this Tuesday, May 2nd. If so, please pick up some and distribute them at places you feel would help promote EuroCar. Claudia Dorian is handling door-prizes; which will be given to randomly selected participants who turn in their judging form. If you have something to contribute to the supply of door prizes, please bring it to either our May 2nd or June 7th regular club meeting. The charity for EuroCar 2016 was selected by the EuroCar team last Tuesday evening during our planning meeting. It will be Sarah's Guest House, which provides services to families of patients who are receiving medical care in Central New York. Don Nelson, EuroCar 2016 team chairperson.
