New brand identity and new generation of pin bindings With the legendary Diamir Titanal bindings, Fritschi gave new impetus to the touring world with a lot of innovation. The efforts then and now - are driven by enthusiasm for touring and fascination with technology. As a leading manufacturer of touring bindings Fritschi Swiss Bindings stands for safety, innovation, functionality and Swiss quality. The brand identity with the new Fritschi logo represents the technical evolution packaged in a modern, attractive design. The way the Swiss build touring ski bindings The Fritschi Evo 12 and Fritschi Tecton 12 are light-weight systems offering the greatest possible safety in addition to an easy, ergonomic climbing technique and precise and agile control to ski downhill. All parts are manufactured in Switzerland and assembled into high-quality products in Reichenbach. After the assembly, every binding undergoes a meticulous quality control process, including a functional test. Fritschi Vipec Evo 12 The development continues The further developed toe of the Vipec Evo 12 makes stepping in exceptionally easy and offers even more security. With the SAFETY PIN SYSTEM Fritschi has redefined pin bindings with a pin unit in front and in back (pin-pin). It combines the technical concept of alpine bindings with the walking comfort and the light weight of pin bindings. December 2017/Marketing Fritschi AG Swiss Bindings 1 / 5
Step in please! Easy step-in The tip of the boot is optimally positioned by means of a solid stop in front and a positioning guide. Responding to slight pressure, the system closes with the pin levers engaging precisely in the inserts. The sequence of movements is comparable with that of an alpine binding. Solid stop in front to step in More safety when falling forward Immediate release of the boot with front release After the release of the heel, the boot tips forward. Due to the pressure of the front of the boot on the release lever the boot is also immediately released by the toe unit. Fritschi Tecton 12 Free Touring Power The combination of the toe of the Vipec Evo 12 (pin) and the revolutionary heel with a hold-down system comprising an alpine heel with Power Rail and a minimum weight of an incredible 550 g (per unit) results in extra power and even more safety. With the Tecton 12 the SAFETY PIN SYSTEM bridges the gap to free touring. Power transmission in three dimensions Easy and precise ski control, even with wider skis In the back, where the highest forces are acting in downhill skiing, the Tecton 12 stays as stable and rigid as an alpine binding and transmits the power directly and without any loss from boot to ski. No gap Direct contact boot-binding-ski The hold-down system with an alpine heel pushes the sole of the boot firmly against a step plate directly connected to the ski and ensures direct traction at all times. Vice-like The boot remains fixed As an absolute novelty, the Power Rail integrated in the heel engages in the insert on the heel, secures the boot in the center and prevents a loss of power caused by lateral movements. Alpine heel with Power Rail Without interruption Heel unit remains stable The heel remains laterally stable in downhill skiing. Unlike other pin bindings, the power transmission is not interrupted by rotary movements of the heel unit during the turns. Static construction Release with comfort Compensation of tensile forces As in alpine bindings, when the DIN value is set, the front release occurs via a heel jaw with a dynamic way of 9 mm. The reset force of the spring prevents a prerelease and compensates the high tensile forces on the leg in a forward fall.
