Schedule Thursday 9/27 Sunday 9/30 Thursday 10/4 Friday 10/5 Saturday 10/6 Royalty Voting Court: 2:15-3:00- Pep Assembly 2:00-4:00- Hall Decorations 6:00-8:00- Bonfire 2:30-3:00- Parade/Pep rally 7:00-Homecoming Game 8:00-11:00- Homecoming 1 freshman girl, 1 freshman boy 1 sophomore girl, 1 sophomore boy 1 junior girl, 1 junior boy 3 senior girls, 3 senior boys 1 senior queen, 1 senior king 14 total member of the court Nominations at lunch: September 20-25 Students will have the ability to nominate one boy and one girl to represent their grade in the homecoming court, these tables will be placed around the school. Voting for King and Queen: October 1-5 All students will have the ability to vote for senior court King and Queen through online voting. Check your student email for the link. ONHS Homecoming 2018 Night at the Gala Homecoming Assembly: When: Thursday 9/25 2:15pm-3:00pm The Pep Assembly will include: Spirit Day Fashion Show Royalty Announcement Introduction of Football Team Spirit Week: Monday 10/1- Getting Ready for the Gala (PJs) Tuesday 10/2- Decade Day (1950 s attire) Wednesday 10/3- Where in the world are the Eagles? (Tourist) Thursday 10/4- Red Carpet Ready (Dress up) Friday 10/5- Color wars: We Are O.N.E. (Olathe North Colors) Bonfire: Freshman- Red Sophomores- Blue Juniors- White Seniors- Red, White & Blue When: Thursday 10/4 from 6:00pm-8:00pm Where: The practice field at Olathe North Cost: All activities at the bonfire are FREE Who can attend: An Olathe North Student, you must have a student ID to enter What: There will be free hotdogs, chips, cookies, water, sno-cones and cotton candy. There will also be a bonfire, DJ, Carnival games and a car smash.

Parade/Pep Rally: When: Friday 10/5-2:30pm-3:00pm Where: The parade will stage at Poplar-KC Road and will follow KC Road Northeast and end on the practice field. The pep rally will be held on the practice field. Activity Description: At the end of the school day, we will hold a parade in the area around Olathe North. All students and faculty at Olathe North will watch or participate in the parade, and community members will also be encouraged to come. The Olathe North band, cheerleaders, Eaglettes, and many clubs will participate in the parade as per tradition. Additionally, we are hoping to have community businesses participate in the parade. The parade will end at the practice field, and a pep rally will be held there, led by Mr. Herman. Homecoming Game: When: Friday 10/5-7:00pm Where: ODAC Our opponent: Shawnee Mission-East Lancers Cost: $5 for students and seniors and $7 for adults. Activity passes are also accepted Homecoming royalty will be crowned at halftime Homecoming Dance: When: Saturday 10/6-8:00pm-11:00pm Where: Olathe North High School- enter at the Culinary Entrance Food: Light snacks and drinks Dress: Semi-formal attire, no jeans Girls: Dress or blouse with skirt or slacks Boys: Slacks and a nice shirt (suit is optional) Tickets: Tickets can be purchased at lunch and at homecoming. This year tickets will also be available for purchase online. The link will be provided at a later date. $15 in advance $20 at the door Guests: All guests must be at least a freshman in high school and no more than 20 years old and fill out a guest from, and show ID. Guest forms are due on Tuesday, October 2 nd at 3:30pm to Mrs. Beatty or Mrs. Wellman in the front office Entrance: All students must have their student ID and ticket or ticket payment to enter the dance.

Parade will stage at Popular-KC Road. It will follow KC Road Northeast toward Olathe North High School. Circle only on the west side the round-about, flow west along Prairie in front of ONHS, and turn into the west (faculty) parking lot. The parade will end on the practice field for the pep rally.
