Choir: Choir students were invited to attend the Lakes High School Football game tonight. Let s hope for some dry warm weather!

Yearbook: The yearbook online ordering site is up and running. Our final deadline is April 1, 2019 and that is also the date when the final quantity needs to be submitted. So you can order all the up until April 1 st of next year, but you may want to beat the deadline and order now. There is a page of instructions on how to either order a yearbook OR check to see if you have ordered a yearbook. It is titled Procedure for Purchasing and/or Checking to see if you have purchased a Yearbook. It is located on the virtual backpack. Please follow those instructions to place your order. Please make certain that you are ordering from Millburn Middle School and not Millburn Elementary. Also, if you are ordering multiple copies for siblings who attend both schools, please be certain you order from the correct school. Important Dates: 10/6 Choir to Shrek Musical 10/8 No School Columbus Day 10/13 Cross Country State Meet Future Freshmen to Lakes High School: Lakes requires this year s 8 th grade students to take the PSAT. Please reserve Saturday, October 27 th in your calendars for this assessment at Lakes High School. Students should arrive by 7:30 am and expect to be done and ready for pick up approximately 11:15. Activity Night: The 1 st Middle School Activity Night of the year is on Friday, October 26 th. More information on the theme will follow. There will be a DJ & NITRO BALL!!!! THE DROP OFF/PICK UP PROCEDURE IS VERY IMPORTANT! DROP OFF PICK UP 6 th grade-6pm, MAIN entrance 7 th /8 th grade-6:30pm, MAIN entrance 6 th grade-8:30pm, MAIN entrance 7 th /8 th grade-9:00pm ACTIVITY entrance For PICK UP, please pull in and find a parking spot. You can meet your child at the canopy area. You can also use the pick up late, but if everyone does this, the line of traffic will stretch out to Route 45! No students will be allowed to walk or ride a bike home. Admission to the event is $2.00. Drinks, candy and pizza will be available for purchase. All students attending MUST have a current student ID to show at the door. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE. Students CANNOT go to their lockers to retrieve forgotten ID s, as the hallway doors are locked. Also, all students must have a permission slip to attend Activity Night on file. If you

need to leave before the Activity Night is over, YOUR parent must sign you out! The rules are NOT negotiable! MMS PTO Activity Night Volunteers Needed! Have you ever wondered what your middle schooler could possibly be thinking? Are you having a hard time remembering what it was like to be in middle school? We have the answer! Join us, Friday, October 26th for a night of crazy chaotic fun (without phones or electronics)! We can use all the help we can get: serving up food & drinks to the masses, coordinating Bingo and just watching all the rooms of activity. Are you brave enough?
