You can now register at any time, once registration is open (i.e. you no longer have to go through tech first). However, if you need a log book or transponder bracket, go to registration first. 2. Team captain or representative brings car, log book and AIV to tech. You get the royal treatment and are sent on your way with no undue BS. 3. Team members can get their gear checked at any time Don t hang around and then try to go through tech/registration at the last minute! We will close the tech line at 6:45pm. If you re not in line at that time, your car gets teched Saturday when we can get to it (after coffee and donuts, and maybe after the race starts!) If you get to the front of the Tech line and don t have your tech form filed out and AIV ready, you get to go to the back of the line!
Supplemental Rules: 1. Read all of these extra rules and whatnot. If you can t read, get a buddy to help. All team members should read this document. 2. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND CHUMPCAR S 2013 RULES! Yes, there are changes this year. I didn t understand or I guess I was still looking at the 2010 rules won t save your bacon. 3. Do not wait until the last minute to get through Tech. Plan to arrive early. The later you wait, the longer the line gets, and we will shut tech down at 7pm! 4. Tech, Registration and Gear Check are on Friday, not Saturday. We re racing on Saturday! Check the schedule above if you don t believe us. 5. All fueling and driver changes will be completed in the hot pit lane area. If you catch something on fire, we want everyone to see it! 6. Prepare to show your wrist band to the official at Pit Out before entering the track. If you don t have a wrist band, car tech sticker or gear check sticker, you will not be allowed on track. 7. Any hard, intentional or repeat contact between cars will earn all involved a black flag. Minor, incidental contact is not generally considered an offense unless it s repetitive. MAINTAIN RACING ROOM AT ALL TIMES. If you don t know what racing room is, ask. 8. ALL cars entering Pit Road will stop at Pit In and get a timer. All cars leaving Pit Road will stop at Pit Out. There are no exceptions. 9. Violating the fueling rules will result in your car being held at Pit Out. Make sure you read the rules! 10. All cars, used or junk parts and anything else you brought with you that the rest of the free world would consider as junk must be taken home with you. 11. Read the 2013 rules 12. If you did not provide us with a transponder number during online registration, we ordered you one. You pay for it whether you need it or not. 13. Late fees are no longer optional nor forgivable. Sorry. Pay on time and you cut the cost of your racing. 14. Impound closes 15 minutes after the last car exits the track. Once impound closes the results of the race are final and no protests will be heard. Period. 15. THERE IS NO PARKING ON THE COLD SIDE OF PIT WALL. DELIVERIES ONLY.
