A Welcome from Wales Squash and Racketball Welcome to Cardiff the Capital of Wales. On behalf of Wales Squash & Racketball, may I welcome the Ladies Oer 45 and, Men s Oer 45 and Men s Oer 65 teams and guests to the Masters Home Internationals 2016. Historically, the Masters Home Internationals has been a wonderful occasion for players to test their skills against other nations, as well as renew friendships and meet new players. The Master s eents are unique in that excellent players from eery country are continuously Coming of Age. Good luck for the weekend. The facilities include 4 squash courts including 2 glass back courts, 10 badminton courts, all-weather tennis courts, and a floodlit artificial pitch. Venue Cardiff Squash Rackets Club, Ryder Street, Cardiff This is a priate members club that has four courts including 1 glass back court, a bar and a gym. Both enues are within walking distance of the City Centre, Cardiff Castle and the Millennium Stadium.

Meal Information Friday: Dinner is proided on Friday at Cardiff SRC from 8pm onwards for all players and guests on the food package. Lunch is proided on Saturday at Cardiff SRC between noon and 2.30pm for all players and guests on the food package. The Presentation Dinner The Presentation Dinner will take place in the Copthorne Hotel (tournament hotel) from 7.30pm until 1am Dress will be smart /casual. Additional tickets for the Gala Dinner will be aailable from Lynne at a cost of 30 per person. Contact: lynne.daies@wsrb.co.uk Scoring Definitions. Traditional scoring to 9 points will be used for MO65 and WO45. At 8 all, the receier may call 1 or 2 points. M045 will be use PARs to 11. At 10 all, win by 2 points. A tie is a series of fie matches played between two countries. A match is played between indiidual players.

Allocation of points 1 point shall be awarded for each game won in a match. 5 bonus points are awarded to the team winning the tie. The winner of a match between two countries is the team with the most points. In the case of the number of points being equal, the winner will be the team with the highest number of match wins. To decide team positions the results will be taken in the following order: a. highest number of match wins b. highest number of points for c. lowest number of points against d. the result of the match between the two teams who are tied Order of play The order of play on each court shall be 5 3 1 4-2 Practice Courts Aailable on request from 12 o clock Friday at the Sport Wales National Centre. Referee Referees will be proided for eery match.although there might well be an occasion where teams may be expected to referee matches. Team captains will be responsible for the allocating of referees if required
