Bowling Green is set to open up conference play at Steller Field for the first time since 2015. Bowling Green is 1-0 at Steller Field in 2018. On Wednesday (March 21), freshman Dylan Dohanos hit a walk-off single in the bottom of the ninth inning to give the Falcons a 5-4 win over Dayton. Dohanos is a Bowling Green High School graduate. His walk-off single marked his first at-bat at Steller Field. In BGSU s win over Dayton, the Falcons registered a season-high 14 hits. Eight different Falcon pitchers combined to limit the Flyers to just four hits. BGSU committed zero errors in the contest. Bowling Green played its first 19 games of the 2018 season away from home. The 19-game stretch included 17 true away games. Junior infielder Neil Lambert leads the team in hits (24), total bases (33) and stolen bases (10), while also owning a.308 batting average. Senior Randy Righter ranks second on the team with 22 hits. He s also scored a team-high 13 runs. Redshirt-junior Jeff Scott leads the squad with 12 RBI. His 21 hits ranks third on the team.
