STAY CALM. Emotions are running high on Grand Final Day but we urge all players and spectators to show respect, support each other and have good team spirit. Win or loss make this a positive day to remember! There are 2 sidelines: On one sideline we have the Officials Bench, there should be the coaches, scorer, time keeper, and first aid/carer. This is shown on the below court map with the red line indicating the Officials Bench. All spectators need to be on the opposite sideline to the Officials bench, any spectators standing at the Officials Bench or at the ends of the court will be asked to move. Cheer loudly and show respect to both teams. You cannot borrow players unless our Registrar and BHSNA have been notified in advance and it has been approved. Be supportive of the umpires. Umpiring during finals is a tough job, with a multitude of parents analysing your every call. Umpires are only human, mistakes may be made but remember every umpire is doing their best.

Introducing our New NetSetGO team! Introducing our newest members of the Oakhill Netball Family our 6 and 7 year old NetSetGO team. This year Oakhill Netball decided to run a NetSetGO program for 6 and 7 year olds. Wednesday afternoon was the second session and the girls love it, coming to the netball court with excitement and enthusiasm. We have a strong focus on having fun and introducing the love of netball as well as the basics of ball skills and learning the rules of the game. It s a ten week program run by volunteers and parents and is the perfect lead in to their 2019 netball season. A big thank you to the volunteer coaches, Kim Pattison, Julie Wallace, Caroline Jarocki and the coaches assistant Amelia Pattison for giving up their time and running the program. We look forward to the next eight sessions to see what fun they can have but it has been a successful start to the netball careers of 16 enthusiastic little girls! Keep up those big smiles girls.
C4 sisters were slowed by the rain in the end but VERY proud of their Minor Premiership! C4 Sisters -v- Kenthurst FINAL As the match commenced, so did the rain at Kellyville! The game was slowed due to the conditions, but intense. Scores were even up to half time. Kenthurst managed to break away in the 3 rd quarter with a quick succession of goals and our girls were unable to recover. Speed is the weapon for our C4 sisters and in the wet, it was just too dangerous to run and weave in their usual fashion and the opposition managed to take the win. What a fabulous effort though by our C4 sisters! They finished up with a Minor Premiership under their belts, well done girls! Written by Kath Geale, Team Co-ordinator for C4s
