My positions ranged from set up, clean up, modeling, serving, and selling raffles, all the way to greeting important guests at events. Mr. is another fundraiser I have been heavily involved in for three years since its conception, which I was heavily involved. (I can proudly say that this event has raised over $100,000 for Saint Bede). This year I was a part of the 2 nd place team and choreographed the dance for it. Both of these fundraisers are used to help offset the costs of schooling and have taught me a sense of responsibility and organization. I have also been able to share my Spanish skills with others by volunteering as a Peer Tutor for Spanish. I helped with the Yearbook Committee where I utilized the skills that I learned during my junior high years as the President of the Yearbook staff. As a sophomore, my poem was selected for the Caedmon Literary Magazine. Community Service I have been a member of the xxxxxxx club since I was 12 yrs. old. I participate and help at events such as xxxxx. This organization has provided me with the opportunity to travel to for a two week xxx camp. This organization has taught me to xxxxxx. Recently I have been an active volunteer in the Rally for Lily group. This has taught me the value of life and the stronghold our community has. During the summertime I volunteered hours at LaSalle Recreations where I coached little ball. Also, I volunteered at xxxxxxx. Above I mentioned Teen Safe Driving program, we actively visit local grade schools to promote seat belt use. Hobbies Outside of all my school associated clubs and organized activities, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I like to travel and have had many opportunities to travel abroad in the summers and I now have a better understanding of different cultures. I ve stayed at small farms, being a part of the daily chores where the nearest store was twenty minutes away, all the way to big cities like London where I learned how to navigate the underground transportation system. I work for my uncle at xxxxxx where I continuously monitor the cleanliness and the paper work. Aside from all this, I like to read and I am currently reading the novel Safe Haven. My involvement in theater has given me a passion for movies and musicals. I like to exercise and during the weekdays I go for walks with my mom. My family has always come first and I enjoy going to my cousins sporting events and cheering them on. 4/4

Future Plans After graduating from Saint Bede Academy in the Spring 2013, I will be attending xxxxx College where I will be pursuing a career as an xxxxxx. I think my personality suits this career because I enjoy being with people and I like to teach new things. The benefit of this career is being able to help solve people s problems and teach them a way they can perform daily tasks. I plan to be heavily involved in activities and clubs while in college much like I am at St. Bede. Some things that I plan to be involved in are the xxxxxx club, xxxxx team, Spanish club and act as representative of xxxx College promoting all that the school has to offer. Since I have been young, I have always been heavily involved so I cannot imagine these would be the only programs I will be involved in. I plan to major in Biology and minor in Spanish. My second year at xxxxx College I am planning to participate in a 6 month study abroad program in Spain. After graduating from college I plan to further my education and go to graduate school where I can pursue my dream of becoming a xxxxxx. I also hope to marry and have children one day. 5/4
