Commodore Seaby Bess With all the news showing the arctic blast I am reminded how blessed we all are to be here right now where all we need to do to keep warm is put on a jacket and trade the flip flops for shoes. My favorite part of this time of year is having the windows open and airing out the house. I had an opportunity to see my grandson recently (first one) meet Andrew Seaby Kieser. I m sure we will have him on the water soon sailing. Our first event with GCSC coming up will be the Commodore s Cup hosted by CMCS in Fort Myers. The schedule of events usually includes free beer at the after party Saturday night. The next Sugden event will be skippered by Jeff Gage who is planning to have a briefing on the rules and then some spirited small boat racing. Not to be missed. We also are starting the process of voting in a new ballot of officers. If you are interested in serving feel free to contact anyone on the Board of Directors. Our vote will take place in April. Also note the Absentee Ballot in the newsletter should you not be able attend. Thank you to all of you that have stepped up to serve in the interim positions. See you at the next monthly meeting at River Park. Check out this training video featuring Grampa and Grandma, sorry - Captains Seaby and Betti.
