How Chelsea Works Doug Kaputa The lottery for requests works the following way: The points for the team making the request is determined by adding up the points accumulated by the individual players on the team and then dividing this total by the number of players to get the team average. The request with the lowest team average gets the first pick for their time slot, and so on until the team with the highest average is placed. Requests having the same number of points are placed into a bag and drawn out at random. 25
Chelsea Re-cap Doug Kaputa Points 1. No points will be assigned when a request is made. 2. 1 point will be assigned for play between 7AM and 11AM. 3. 0.5 points will be assigned for play between 11AM and 3PM. 4. No points will be assigned for play after 3PM. 5. 0.3 points will be assigned for League/Tournament play. 6. 0.1 points will be subtracted for each hour away from a requested tee time. 7. 1 point will be assigned for a no show. 8. Points based on a rolling 14 day calendar. 9. No negative points. 10. No Associate Member play before 11AM. 26
