Memberships This is a reminder that all memberships will be processed at the Sun n Lake Pool. Starting March 11th registration & renewal hours are from 8am - 7:00pm, Monday - Friday and 11am-7:00pm Saturday & Sunday. This includes pool, fitness and racquet club memberships. Pickleball is a fun sport that combines many elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong. Played both indoors or outdoors on a badminton-sized court and a slightly modified tennis net. It is played with a paddle and a plastic ball with holes and can be played as doubles or singles. Highlands County Opens New EMS/Fire Station On January 23 rd, Highlands County held a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new EMS/Fire Station located off of Sun n Lake Blvd. Highlands County had several Commissioners in attendance and EMS/Fire personnel. Florida Hospital also had representatives in attendance, including their new CEO Randy Surber and Sun n Lake was well represented with Board of Supervisors Mike Gilpin, Mark Camp and Ray Brooks. Tanya Cannady, General Manager of Sun n Lake Improvement District was asked to cut the official ribbon.
