Breakfast with Santa on December 21, 2012 Tis the Box Top Season at PFE! Win Breakfast with Santa, bring in Box Tops from Nov. 26-Dec. 7th. As the holiday baking and entertaining season begins, remember to purchase General Mills items with Box Tops for Education in support of PFE. Betty Crocker, Pillsbury baking items, and snack products have BOXTOPS to clip. Each of those little squares is worth 10 cents for our school. Turn in your sheet of Box Tops to the decorated HOLIDAY BOXTOPS container in the front foyer. Be sure to include: student s name, grade level, and amount of Box Tops enclosed. The Top 30 students in K-5 will earn Breakfast with Santa on Friday, December 21st. Happy Holiday Baking! IMPORTANT: Check for expired box tops. They will not be accepted! Deadline for submitting Box Tops is Friday, December 7th. Substitute Shortage Humble ISD is experiencing a shortage of substitute teachers. If you are interested in a flexible work schedule with school hours and holidays, this is the job for you! Book Fair Thank You! A HUGE thank you goes out to all of your support of the Fall "All Star" Book Fair! We earned over $4,000 to add books to the PFE Library! Thank you for your donations to the "All for Books" program. We collected $342! Scholastic will match these funds to donate books to charities. Kindergarten was our grade level winner and representatives from each class came to choose books to add to the library. Kindergarten will be the first grade level to get to check these out once they are processed and added to the library catalog. The book fair wouldn't be possible without the help of some very amazing volunteers.
