Watauga Middle School Baseball Middle school baseball tryouts are tentatively set to begin Feb. 15 at Hardin Park. All players wishing to tryout must have a completed physical within the past 395 days and a completed concussion form. Both forms are located on the middle school athletics page. You can find the middle school athletics page by visiting the Hardin Park School website and click the parent tab and you will see middle school athletics. While tryouts begin in February, players are encouraged to begin throwing before that date to start getting arms back into throwing shape. Practices for the season will run approximately 3:30-5:00/5:30 Mon-Fri along with some Saturdays. As with previous years, there will be fundraising involved with the team to assist with offsetting the cost of the program. This fundraising will begin immediately following the team being chosen. Before anyone goes out and purchases cleats, I plan to have the same cleat the high school is ordering available in a team store. That information will be released after the team is chosen. If you have any questions before tryouts begin, feel free to contact me at Cove Creek School by phone or email. Thank you, Brian Vannoy Watauga Middle School Baseball (828)297-2781 vannoyb@wataugaschools.org
