From the authentic hearts sharing joyous songs to the fun, humor, and truth of the Upper Elementary play, there were so many moments to draw our attention to the baby born in Bethlehem. Thank you so much to those who brought cookies, punch, and stayed to share a conversation. It was a blessing to share together in the celebration of Christ s birth. I pray as Advent leads to Christmas Day, that the Christ child will be at the center of your home. As wisemen came seeking, may we continue to seek after Jesus. May the Joy of the Lord be upon you and your family, and may His peace be upon your home. While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them. Luke 2:6,7 Blessings, Ben Frenchak Pastor/Principal, CCS Thank You!!!!!! Thank you to all who helped in providing refreshments for the fellowship time after the Christmas Program on Friday. Cookies, punch, and cheer were enjoyed by all. Thank you to those who helped in the kitchen for set up, serving, and clean up as well. Parents and middle school students alike. It was wonderful to spend time together celebrating Jesus and this special Christmas season. Have a blessed Christmas and enjoy your break!!! January Tuition Billing Due by January 1

2016 Cougar Cub Basketball Beginning in January, our Cougar Cubs will once again have the opportunity to lace up their sneakers and take to the court for some basketball action. At the elementary level, the focus will primarily be on skills development and having a lot of fun while keeping competition at a healthy level. The BRAEAA league that we have previously participated in has effectively dissolved for this year. As a result, we will run some in-house Saturday morning clinics hosted by Coach Armentrout for our CCS players, as well as playing some games against our neighbor, Eastern Mennonite. Please see the enclosed schedule and roster for further information regarding this change. We will have two teams, a blue and a white, for each of the age groups this season. Practices for the individual teams will be every Wednesday from January 13 - February 17. During the Saturday clinics, all players from the same age group will be together learning fundamentals and scrimmaging each other during 3-on-3 games. At present, we have two teams without a coach, the K-2 Blue and the 3-5 White teams. We also need some extra help with the K-2 White team. If you would like to lead or assist with one of these teams, or if you would like to help out with one or all of the Saturday clinics, please get in touch with me ASAP! I can provide you with a complete practice plan and some helpful resources should you need them. Coach Armentrout Go Cougar Cubs!!
