Randy Travis, Juergen Burmeister, Tim Hewitt and Eric Sommers attended the show. Eric & Tim won First in their classes, and Juergen won 2nd in his class & Best in Show for Foreign entries. Input from Juergen says it was a hot and long drive, but he still recommends going next year. The cruise to LuLu Bells in Ash Fork was not a success. Only 5 of our club members and 4 from the Cruisers made the trip. This is a very frustrating issue to the club as to why there is not support for our events. A lengthy discussion was held at our June general meeting. Richard Federico is requesting your input as to what direction our club needs to take. Our Club Annual Picnic, you know where Randy wows us with his BBQ ribs, is coming up on July 22 at Ft. Tuthill. NOTE: the cost of $10.00 for one or $15.00 for two, is due by the next general meeting on July 11. No response after July 11 will be accepted.

PAGE 4 MAY LADIES LUNCHEON Picture By Kathy Federico Held at Grimaldi s Pizzeria on May 15. Above are Kathy Federico, Judy Bischoff, Ann Piper, Sallie Page, Mona Keksis, Candyce Howard, and Kathy Westerdahl FLASH : A ONE OF A KIND 1958 OLDSMOBILE PICK UP TRUCK UPDATE! According to Robin Moore, the above photos are not of a 1958 Olds, but of a 1959 Pontiac El Catalina Truck; six were made for exhibition at car shows. Thanks to Robin for the correction ( just proves that not everything on the internet is correct.).

CRUISERS SPRING CAR SHOW The big news for this car show, which had a nice assortment of rides, was the weather; NO wind! As you may recall, the last several shows had some vicious winds. We had two award winners at the show: Vern Phennenstahl won Best Truck, and Jeff Bryan won Best Upholstery. About 40 cars were present. Rather than post the same old car pictures, we thought you might like seeing some micro shots of various scenes at the show. Photos by Candy Howard and the editor. PAGE 5

PAGE 6 9TH ANNUAL WILLYS CONVENTION AT MOAB, UTAH BY ALAN ST. GERMAIN Alice and I took our 1954 Willys truck to Moab to attend the 9th Annual Willys Gathering. There was over 110 people and over 50+ Willys of all types. The truck did very well on the 4x4 trails, and I will never do that again, hahaha!
