Shirley Eckman and high school senior Charles Brock pictured with two of the senior boys who attended community coffee. Olive Gilbert with 3 of the senior girls who came and visited with us. On October 5th, Big Meadows crowned their 2016 Homecoming King and Queen. Pictured to the left is King Brett Thompson and Queen Cindy Backes. On the right is Brett and Cindy with activity aide, Darian. On Thursday, October 6th West Carroll s Marching Band paid Big Meadows a visit and played two of their musical selections. Every year, the residents get so excited to see the marching band during homecoming week.

Resident Council with the help of Dianne Miller will be taking orders for the following items that will be ready on November 23 for pick up. Please have your order and money to Jaime by November 14. All money raised will go towards resident council for special events and guest performances. Do not forget to turn your clocks back an hour before you go to bed on Saturday, November 5. Thanksgiving Dinner You re invited to enjoy Thanksgiving Dinner with your loved one. Dinner will be served Thursday, November 24, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. in the main dining room. You must RSVP by November 17 with the number of guests that will be attending. Up to 4 guests per resident please. If you have a larger group, please call and ask about room. The cost is $5/meal. The menu will include: turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes & gravy, will be held on Wednesday, November 9th at 9:30a in the dining room, please come and join us!
