MUNICIPALITY OF SOUTHWEST MIDDLESEX COUNCIL MINUTES NOVEMBER 26, 2014 CALL TO ORDER Mayor Reycraft called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m. In attendance were Mayor Doug Reycraft, Deputy Mayor Vance Blackmore and Councillors Mary Jane Grover, John Kavelaars, John Kendall, Don McCallum, Martin Vink and Marigay Wilkins. Staff member in attendance was Administrator/Clerk Janneke Newitt. Ted Halwa of Monteith Brown was also present to address planning issues. APPROVAL OF AGENDA M.J. Grover / D. McCallum #14-0560 That the agenda be approved as circulated. DISCLOSURE OF PECUNIARY INTEREST No disclosures of pecuniary interest were declared. DEPUTATIONS AND PETITIONS The public meeting for Zoning Application P-13/2014 (Fulline Farm Equipment) took place at 7:00 p.m., prior to the council meeting. COUNCILLORS COMMENTS AND ENQUIRIES Mayor Reycraft announced that the Expressions of Interest filed by Dawn Euphemia Township and Southwest Middlesex under the OCIF application based grant for the replacement of the Watterworth Road culvert had been approved and that the municipalities are now eligible to file a complete grant application. Deputy Mayor Blackmore thanked out-going Councillor Mary Jane Grover and Mayor Doug Reycraft for their many years of service to the community and presented them both with a commemorative certificate. Councillor Grover and Mayor Reycraft recalled some memorable times while serving on Council. CLOSED SESSION (Committee of the Whole) M. Vink / J. Kendall #14-0575 That, as of 9:30 p.m., the next portion of the meeting be closed to the public as permitted by Section 239 of the Municipal Act S.O. 2001, c.25, to deal with procedural matters (approval of minutes). Coming out of the closed session at 9:36 p.m. the Deputy Mayor reported that procedural matters dealt with. V. Blackmore / M.J.
