Thank you for the tremendous effort you have put into our upcoming auction. We cannot do it without your support! We are still accepting donations! We ask that all donations, with the exception of furniture, be turned in by Friday, April 20 th. If you have a conflict or are still waiting on an already confirmed donation, please e-mail sjsauction2@gmail.com. On Monday, April 23rd, there will be a short training session for volunteers who have signed up for check-in/check-out the evening of the auction. The session will last approximately 30 minutes. Please meet in the St. Jude Room at 5:30 and bring a laptop. Lastly, tickets are selling fast so get your tickets now! The easiest way to purchase tickets is online. COURTYARD: ECHO is so close to finishing the courtyard dedicated to Mrs. Pat Suit but they need your help. See the attached donation sheet and opportunity to earn your family volunteer hours. Contact Mrs. Redding with any questions. Thank you in advance for your support! SPRING RUNNING CLUB The running club will start up again April 24-May 15. The permission form is attached. PETER PAN MUSICAL Our students have been working hard on the musical. Please plan on coming and watching Thursday or Friday. Admission is $5 which includes a drink and dessert. AFTERNOON CAR RIDER LINE With the warmer weather upon us (soon!), some classes will be outdoors in the afternoon. Please, arrive after 2:45pm for afternoon car line. This will ensure the safety of our students. At times, cars are lined up all the way back to St. John s Rd. forcing us bring the students in early and opening the gates. Thank you for your cooperation. DRAGON BOAT RACES The staff at St. John s will again be participating in the Dragon Boat Races this year. We are looking for sponsors. SJS Spring Running Club St. John s School will be offering a Running Club this spring for young runners, 1 st through 8 th grade, to prepare them for the Color Run sponsored by SJS May 19, 2018. Students will have the option of participating in running games or lap style 5K training. Both options will help the students build stamina for the upcoming Color Run. Please have your students wear their PE uniform to school on Running Club days and bring a snack to eat before practice. An after-practice treat will be provided. Pick-up will be at 4pm. Any student not picked up by 4:10pm will be sent to aftercare and parents will assume aftercare fees. Attached is a permission form. No child will be allowed to participate in Running Club without a signed permission form. Please indicate on the permission form if you would like your child to be sent to aftercare after Running Club. Thank you so much and I am looking forward to seeing everyone at Running Club! These items are available at Lowe s Home Improvement in California. Please drop off items outside the front of the school on the right hand side (library side) and turn in this form, completed, to the office. We will be accepting items until Friday, May 25, 2018.
