Members present were Jim & Joan Hoffman, Ron Brubaker, Dennis Williams, Larry Schroeder, Brian Underwood & Don Feeney and Friend. They were only 14 members that have renewed their membershi p dues from the 37 that we had. Only 6 ballots returned to the newsletter editor and so two officers were vacant of the 4 officers; (President, V- President, Treasurer, Secretary), so V-President & Secretary that we didn t have enough person s to fill therefore DUE TO LACK OF INTREST. President s cont d The few that been keeping it going since the start have decided to just be the guys who are National members. We will meet at the fairgrounds in Mt. Lester Snyder Jr. 1926-2005 Lester Snyder, Jr., age 78, of Perrysburg, OH passed away on Thursday evening, April 21, 2005, at St. Charles Hospital, Oregon, OH. Lester was born in Carey, OH on July 1, 1926 to Lester, Sr. and Lila (Grady) Snyder. He married Margaret Stoneburner on November 3, 1945 in Upper Sandusky, OH and she preceded him in death on January 10, 2001. Lester was a Carman for the C&O Railroad-Walbridge Yard for 38 years, Owned and Operated Snyder Construction, Lemoyne, OH, Eastwood School District School Bus Driver for 14 years and State of Ohio Concrete Inspector for 9 years. He also was a member of the Stony Ridge Civic Club, 1935 Plymouth Club, American Softball Association, Scout Master for Troop #349, and President of Tri-County Softball Association. Surviving Lester are his Daughters: Viola Smith of Pemberville, OH, Valerie Snyder of Perrysburg; Sons: Russell Snyder of Perrysburg, OH, Rodney (Charlene) Snyder of Genoa, Randy (Robin) Snyder of Perrysburg, OH, Ronald RJ (Richard Brooks) Snyder of Windsor, Ontario; 16 Grandchildren; 8 Great Grandchildren; Sisters: Virginia (Richard) Mossbarger of Raleigh, NC, Ruth (Melvin) Moulton of Bessemer AL; Brothers: David (Jean) Snyder of Perrysburg, OH, Robert (Roberta) Snyder of Lafayette, AL. He was preceded in death by his Wife: Margaret, Parents, and Brother Mervin Snyder. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 24, 2005, from 2-5 & 7-9 PM at the Marsh Funeral Home, 110 West Main Street, Luckey, OH where additional visitation will be held Monday, April 25, 2005 at 10:00 until Funeral Services at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Perrysburg, OH. Those giving a memorial contribution are asked to consider giving towards the American Diabetes Foundation.
