The following items are available every day: garden burger w/tots, cheeseburger w/tots, hamburger w/tots, cheese pizza, pepperoni pizza, ham, turkey or American sandwich, chicken Caesar salad and Chef salad. The winner of January's Spirit Shack contest is Nathan Dickson, 6th grade. Many congratulations. Nathan! Please come pick up your prize at lunch today in the Spirit Shack. Everyone - come visit us today in the Spirit Shack! The 7th grade boys A team pulled out an impressive win over Skyridge last night at home. We were down early thanks to their going 8 for 8 from 3 point land to start the game. However, we tightened up our defense and played our style of basketball to pull away in the second half. Cael Prentice led all scorers followed by Ariya Briscoe. Great job team! Last night s game against in district school Skyridge was epic battle for 7 th grade boys B squad. First quarter was tough with not as many baskets dropping as we would have liked. To start the second quarter down 12 to 8, we got our defense going. Colin Pearson and Wilson Fresh slowed down the game getting to the line a combined 8

times. Coming out of the half we were tied and playing with some of our best intensity all season and finishing the 3 rd quarter up by two. Nathan Rose gave us our biggest push that quarter with 6 points and several more close bucks that just wouldn t drop. With the game score close, we dug in with some great team defense led by Wilson Fresh, Jared Metschner, Kaleb Fassilis and Ethan Jud. Kaleb was also our leading fourth quarter scorer sending Liberty to a two point victory over the Skyhawks 41 to 39. Great job, Lions! The 7 th grade B girls put up a valiant fight against the Skyhawks yesterday, but came up a little short. Their record on the season is still an impressive 6 and 1, which they look to improve upon next week vs. Pacific! 8 th Grade girls A team lost a hard-fought battle to Skyridge. It was a defensive clash but Skyridge ended up with the win by 4. If you volunteer in the Clothes Closet, don t forget it s open during lunches today! Do you think you can dance?! The Camas Dance Team is hosting a pre-audition workshop and camp the Friday and Saturday after spring break. If you are a current 8 th grader you are invited to attend the pre-audition workshop on Friday, April 15 from 3:30-5:30 in the CHS wrestling room to build your confidence and prepare for upcoming auditions. Dancers will be taught current team warm-ups, stretches, learn technique combinations similar to tryouts, and have the chance to participate in a Q&A session about the tryout process. If you are a current 6 th, 7 th, or 8 th grader you are invited to attend the Saturday camp on April 16 th. Participants will learn two fun routines taught by the CHS dance team. All levels of experience are welcome! Pick up a camp packet from the athletic office or room 308! Students the February edition of our student newspaper, The Monthly Roar, is now available! If you re interested in helping some of our students navigate through social situations, similar to the Peer Buddies program, please come sign up for the Lions First club now being formed. We need students who can commit to regularly socializing with our Life Skills students during lunch and for occasional after-school activities. The sign-up sheet is in the Main Office. Thanks for your help! Students if you are sick, please report to the Health Room. Please do not call home from the classroom, cell phone or student phone. Thank you! Do you need help in math or are you looking for a challenge? Camas Magnet and Math Club students will be hosting Mα+λ C μ6 in the library right after school on Mondays and Wednesdays for any students that want to get help with school math, play math games, or learn competition-style math. Please contact billie.mceathron@camas.wednet.edu or camasmathclub@gmail.com for more information. Turning in Box Tops is an easy way for our school to earn money for Spirit Shack items, special programs and more. Last year we earned $392 This year our goal is $1000. This month we are kicking off our Box Tops competition. Grade versus grade. The grade that turns in the most Box Tops by the end of the school year will earn a pizza party. Turn in your Box Tops at the display in the Commons. Each grade has their own pizza box. At the end of each month, the Box Tops will be counted and your pizza will receive pizza toppings. You can see your grade progress by how many toppings are represented on your pizza. Staff are also encouraged to turn in box tops! There is a box in the staff room or you can help out in the competition. Let's get clipping! Bus notes! Please remember to turn your bus notes in at the Athletic Window before school. Prior to heading to the buses, remember to pick up your green Bus Pass posted on the wall by the Athletic Window. You need this pass in order to ride the different bus. The only time the green Bus Pass will be delivered to you is if you are unaware of riding a different bus. Staff Info Raffle tickets for the CEF Auction are still available. Prize is a trip for two to Los Cabo! Tickets are only $20 each. Please see Penny Harlan if you would like to purchase a ticket. Thanks for your support!

Looking for the shredder? It s now in Ms. Harrold s classroom. Her students will take care of your shredding needs! Please email her to let her know and the rest will be taken care of. Staff just a reminder that $20 is all it takes to help out the Social Committee. As usual, if you are part-time, then just donate your percentage. If you are short on cash, we are happy with whatever donation you are able to part with. Thank you! Please remember to send sick students to the Health Room to call home. Do not have them call from the classroom. Thank you! Please remember to put a note on your door clip indicating where you and your class are. We spend wwwwwwaaaaayyyyy too much time searching for kiddos. Thank you for your help with this!
