GET THE MOST OUT OF YOUR ROOF WATERPROOFING GREEN SAFETY LIQUIDS Brand new Sumner Life Saving Club in Christchurch New Zealand Sumner is a coastal seaside suburb of Christchurch, New Zealand The Sumner Surf Life Saving Club was founded in 1911. The sole purpose of the Club was to prevent death by drowning while swimming in the sea. Sumner SLSC provides a community service in the form of surf patrols that keep a watchful eye over those in the water. These patrols are made up of trained volunteers. Sumner Surf Life Saving Club is located at the midpoint of Sumner beach. On 22 February 2011, Sumner was hit by the Christchurch earthquake, which destroyed or made uninhabitable a large number of the local houses and commercial buildings. On 13 June the same year, Sumner was hit by another earthquake of almost the same magnitude as the February event. These two 1 van 7
earthquakes caused severe damage to the club building and it had to be demolished. A great weekend with our Certified Applicators in New Zealand! At the beginning of September, the De Boer distributor in New Zealand, Equus Industries Ltd. organized its Applicator Conference 2016. De Boer was present and we kicked of the weekend with a Belgian evening. It became quickly evident that Belgium does not only produce quality waterproofing membranes but also quality beers! The next day, De Boer s representative shared technical information on its roofing systems as well as an introduction to new accessories. New regional websites launched in South-East Asia. Last month, De Boer has launched 2 new websites for the Philippines and Indonesia. The websites offer insights and information specific to each country. International and local references are shown as well as the De Boer systems offered in each market. Renovation project Daniel L'eau at Deurne Last September, our partners of Daniel L eau have done an excellent job renovating the roof of a building near the recently modernized airport of Antwerp-Deurne. Against the backdrop of an unusually nice Indian Summer, the shingles of the existing roof covering were removed and a new layer of insulation (140mm PIR) was placed, on top of which the tested De Boer system was installed: a DeboBase 3T/F V50 underlayer with our DuO HT 4 AGR / F C180 FC (flying sparks resistant as a standard) on top. 4 van 7 Fall-protection for the Westmalle Trappist Brewery De Boer Green makes Aveve even greener! The Westmalle Trappist Abbey, in full the Abbey of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, is widely known for the excellent beer it brews. The Trappist monks have been brewing In May 2016, De Boer Green completed the green roof on the new Aveve garden center in Wilsele. Pre-cultivated vegetation mats were placed on a buffer layer and a drainage

Renotec is currently renovating the water tower in the town of Wuustwezel. The work includes a full refurbishment of the gutters. De Boer Liquids supplied a hybrid polyester resin which seamlessly seals the surface. The sealant has exactly the same RAL color as the existing roofing, thus ensuring also visual unity. Infrabel at Angleur, one enormous green tower In the new building of Infrabel, the company which manages the Belgian railway infrastructure, De Boer Green has performed a dashing exploit: a ten-meter high plant tower, weighing a ton and covered with about one thousand plants. Infrabel wanted to dress the staircase of its building in Angleur in an original way. They gave us carte blanche for this wonderful vegetal sculpture.
